Feelings on Bill O'Brien so far?

I think if we get the OL situated and can run the ball for more than 3.5ypc we will see the offense open up and guys get more open.

BUT the question will still be do we have the skill players to win a shootout. sometimes in the NFL you need to have a receiver who can make an amazing catch or play. not sure we have anyone who can do that.
We don't and Rham have been terrible.

Yes we can blame Mac. It's always an excuse, this guy is injured, this guy is missing, if we only had this guy, the line us awful.

I think Mac has proven he makes bad choices, heck they barely let him throw after opening it up the beginning of last season and him being a turnover machine. Who remembers the buffalo 2 pass game?

We changed the coordinator, same result. Not just a slow offense, it's outright probably one of the worst. Look at first half scoring. Mac is bad. Unfortunately bb put himself in a position with no likable backup. He was willing to let zappe go, he raided practice squad players. This season is a wash. He's gonna need to either pay for a QB or draft 2 and sign a mid level vet.

I don't see how you can blame O'Brien. Mac is the common denominator.

Blame Mac
Blame personnel (line). Was the outright biggest need outside of the QB and totally neglected.

Really? You're going to blame Mac for throwing 2 passes in hurricane force winds? A game they WON by the way.

Good god, the Anti-Mac crowd is insufferable.

Yes only two throws. They don't trust the guy whatsoever.
How many more trainwrecks do you need to see?
They. Won. The. Game.

How is that a train wreck? Would you have preferred that Mac throw it 50 times and they'd have lost?

Your missing the greater picture. That's the problem with cherry picking stats. Mac did not win that game. He's done little to win any games. He's the problem.

BOB isnt a magician. the OL cant block, there is no run game as stevenson averaged 2.1 ypc, and bourne/parker/juju are #3 or #4 type receivers. hes at least calling real NFL plays. but its talent is poor.

how is it that olsen, romo, countless announcers can see it. but not fans on this board?

as long as everyone deflects from the roster building onto the QB or BOB. Guess it keeps the heat of the real issue.....BB

my opinion on BOB nor Mac has changed.
neither was going to have the upper hand for 17 games.
imo, Mac has played well enough for the team to have won 3 games. BOB has been the coach behind those games.
yesterday, clearly both layed an egg.
I expect a bounce back.

I bet Harris will do what Zeke wished he did this week when we play Bills.

Another Bill the GM misfire.

Damien Harris hasn't done anything on the Bills, he has like 80 yards rushing total

And Zeke hasn't Done jack squat here either him and Rham.

It’s denial. Announcers talked about this during the broadcasts on a weekly basis in 2022, but posters mute of had the game on mute or something.

This is it in a nutshell. They maybe can win if they dont really play a good team and the defense plays lights out, and the run game is good. Mac is just not the type of Qb that overcome things and in this league if you are not that, you have a lower bar of your expectations. Mac has never just taken a game over and won. Game after game have been there for the taking, and he just doesnt. His bar is low and he is not hitting it.

How has he played well enough to win 3 games when they are 1-3? Hell the game he won was more about the jets inability to move the ball and not about what Mac did.

0 development from mac compared to last year is not a good look for bob. Either mac is a bust or BoB isn’t that good
Yeah this

Of course the roster isn't good. I've always been a proponent of players are WAY more important than coaches.

The problem is last year we kept deflecting much of the offensive woes on Patricia, and assumed that O'Brien would make a big impact. What this year is showing is that Mac and the offense are just doomed, and not good enough. They already showed the signs at the end of 2021, but we ignored it.

The O'Brian signing was copium.
