ESPN's Ed Werder reports Richard Sherman has torn ligaments in his elbow

That's what a sprain is isn't it? Some torn ligament .. Some not

How the Packers didn't try to pass or run on him once when he was playing with one arm is still beyond me. Mike McCarthy should be fired for that alone.

Remember in 2011 when gronkowskis high ankle sprain was downplayed until the superbowl where we saw the extent of the injury?

I always figured this would be similar. Clearly the Seahawks wouldnt want to let on that earl thomas and sherman will be playing at less than 100percent

First play, get Gronk the ball in front of Sherman & make him have to tackle Gronk.

McCarthy me think is the greatest benefactor of deflategate.
Anyway, how does a team allow such info to be leaked? Is it a trojan? See why BB wants his players to not comment on injuries or anybody for that matter?

Mccarthy is overrated IMO...especially in big games

The Pats should deploy their secret black-ops crew and get to the balls for this game...inflate them all to 25 psi so when Sherman tries to intercept a pass the ball shatters his entire elbow joint. So let it be written , so let it be done....

Bring him down!! Hit him hard, hit him often, bring home the 4th ring.

He'd do it to you

I have no idea how this game is going to go down. I could see many different possible outcomes. But, if the two top DBs from Seattle are really struggling w health issues, that could tip balance.

Isn't that what a sprain is? Partial tear = sprain. Am I wrong? Haven't we known this since the day it happened?

a torn ligament is the same as a sprain except it sounds a lot worse.

That secondary with sherman and thomas hurt got easier, but still a big challenge. I suspect their game plan is to run the heck out of marshawn lynch and keep brady on the sideline so he doesn't have too many opportunities to exploit that banged up secondary. I would stack 8 in the box and dare russell wilson to throw it. We have the cover guys to take away baldwin and kearse.
