IF Sanders have a lingering knee injury I would rather we pass. We've been getting the short end of the stick on players with knee injuries no thanks.
ill take mahomes :D

You know, we have all used the "Bill once tried to get Sanders" line in discussing him over the years, but the fact is that was SIX seasons ago (2013 IIRC). And truth be told, it would have been a great get....IF it had happened. But it didn't, and like so many hypothetical transactions over the years have become embellished in their retelling.

In 2013 it was a good idea. Now not so much.
Well the point still stands. If Bill believes Sanders has gas left in the tank he is probably the best receiver that is actually going to be available at the deadline. I think if any receiver is coming it will be ES if the price is right. Otherwise we’ll ride or die with what we’ve got.

I doubt Harry is going to be that productive considering he's been out all season...you may see Harry start to really contribute late into the season and playoffs, but I would temper expectations. Sanders has played in a complicated offense before.

They are talking about a 2nd for sanders. People see these big names and reminisce about how good they used to be, but they are older and just not as good, like D. Thomas. There is a reason they want to trade him, and given that he’s tough and good teammate, it likely age and injury. That said, a 6th or 5th is reasonable.

Where are you seeing that Denver wants a 2nd rounder for Sanders? They said second day pick.

They can't win anything this year. He's on the last year of his deal. They save millions by trading him and get back draft capital they'll need to try to build a better team.

No reason to complicate things.

A pick that is below the comp pick Denver is likely to receive when he departs as a veteran FA may be viewed as "reasonable" to you but probably not to the Broncos. ;)

I've no interest in trading a 2 or 3 for Sanders. Far too much for a half season rental. If it's a 5 or 6 then sure.

They may sign too many free agents to get any comp picks. Over $65 million in cap room next season, plus another $10 million when they cut Flacco. It could make sense to trade Harris and Sanders now so they’re free to sign whoever they want without worrying about offsetting comp picks.

Sanders will get, at best, a 5th round comp pick as he'll be a 10 year vet after this season.

They may or they may not sign too many FAs. Now that it has become acceptable in the NFL it could possibly be a tank season for them. The point being as a threshold for trade value it's a reasonable place to start, keeping in mind their DT trade.

Yes it’s not complicated, in return we will likely lose a draft pick or two and use whatever cap space we have to sign and injured 32 yr old wide receiver for half a season without any quarantee he’ll play and do it well. I’m fine if we acquire, just as long as it’s not for a high draft pick.

I've read that there are about 3 or 4 teams interested in Sanders, definitely agree that he'd be a good fit, but when there's that many teams that are inquiring, he might get too expensive.

For Sanders a Fourth should get it done no more.

O Come O Come Emmanuel (to the Patriots!).

The Team in CAP hell and going no where fast and , oh-by-the-way, their QB is now hurt, is the Falcons. Picks might be worth something but right now we are short on weapons.

My thoughts? How about a 2nd and a 5th to the Falcons for both Hooper and Sanu?
Hooper is in his final year and I am sure he wants out of that mess and Sanu has one year plus this. Both are CAP COST $9.850 (about the same as AB).

I can hear my Cousins howling now....."A 2nd???? are you crazy?" ...The Pats will look high for a TE in the 2020 Draft. If we are a late first picks or have a second round pick waiting for a top shelf TE, why take a chance on a Rookie TE? Why not make this tarde with the intent of extending Hooper right away. Sanu gives us WR depth for this year and next and is a good Red Zone target,

Then again, the Pats gave up a first for Cooks. The trade worked out. Maybe.....and I am saying just maybe....our first pries Howard from the Bucs? But the Bucs still feel they are
in it, Can we get a better player on what we all hope is a late first round pick in the 2020 Draft other than He is $3mm and 3.5mm in 2020. A bargain. Brate, their other TE has a salary of $7mm. I might do a 1st for Howard. He's only 24.

Adam Shaheen nake sense with the Bears, but they feel they are still in it. Perhaps Bennett for Shaheen? The Bears seem to need DL help. Hicks is hurt. Nichols has been hurt. Bennett would get plenty of snaps.

But the best partner might be Dimitroff who has a job to worry about and a dead Team. He lowers the CAP, picks up premium picks and he stays. With Jones and Ridley thay have one of the best tandems of WR in the NFL. They can build around that. The need a Cowboys type O Line to protect Ryan. When the were in the SB they had a line and some great backs. They lost some O Line pieces and they were never the same.

Thoughts?
