I am surprised he sucks so much in man coverage considering his combine numbers.

If a guy has rarely been in a scheme that uses man coverage, it can be difficult making the transition from a zone-read perspective.

That was Devin's problem in his second season. It wasn't that he suddenly "sucked" at CB; it was that the Pats changed coverage schemes.
