Yeah, they have no good players. This Myles Garrett guy? Overrated.Pats just traded for a defensive player on a 0-16 team. So glad BB is back!!!!!!

There's lots of comp picks in between those spots.
So basically a trade-down of two spots. Patriots will be on the hook for a salary of 2.4 million for cap purposes or also the roster bonus?
oooo good one.Are you also going to tell us you'd rather have the 2015 Porsche then the 2005 Mazda Miata?
Who the hell are Ryan Lewis and Jamal Wiltz? Do they have any potential?
The good thing is that I won't have to hear or read people wanting him every off-season anymore, he is up there with Larry Fitzgerald.

PS he has to be better than Rowe so that's something.
I can't believe how happy I am with this move - he's on the books for just under 3 million and he's a top corner in the league! PFF ranked him as the 27th best corner in the league last year (with the Browns) and we have him for pennies! I don't know if this is the inner-Belichick in me speaking but this deal is amazing. Its better than having to sign him on the open market since we gave up no value and signed him for much less than what he would get on the open market.
The Patriots will pay his $375k bonus tomorrow, and then he gets $15,625 for each game that he’s active ($250k maximum). $3 million total if he plays all 16 games. So basically a trade-down of two spots. Patriots will be on the hook for a salary of 2.4 million for cap purposes or also the roster bonus?
They traded for a guy who was going to be released anyway? I'm guessing they didn't want to compete in offering him a contract? Some team might have offered $5m per with the money being thrown around.
FYI, the Patriots signed Leigh Bodden of the 0-16 2008 Detroit Lions, and he was the Patriots #1 CB in 2009, and not necessarily by default although he certainly wasn't elite.
Or maybe flip this around..... if the Patriots just reacquired Jamie Collins, would you be saying the same thing?
