During OTAs, Stefon Diggs workin' it hard

Ugh.... do what you want, as long as you earn the respect of your teammates and coaches.

It doesn't give off a great image, but I'm not in the position to judge character.

The only thing I'm worried about is the NFL doing something about this. They don't need to prove anything. As we know all they need to do is say they BELIEVE something is more probable than not. Given there is video they can do that whenever they chose. I doubt they will considering the kind of things they've looked the other way on WRs for. But Diggs wouldn't get as much slack as a guy like Hill would, even for a much lesser issue.

But even if they NFL doesn't do anything this still hurts the Patriots. You only get to set a new tone once and if people don't buy in that's it.

I don't expect every second of Stefon's day to be dedicated to football and rehab. That simply isn't practical. But to hand around whatever that is on a boat while other gets put in work at OTAs sends a bad message to every guy on the locker room.

As for what is best to do about it. Vrabel should ask Diggs to quietly make the rounds to teammates about how he messed up but now his head is back in it. As for Diggs making a public statement, best to leave that to lawyers when drugs are involved and it could become a legal matter. Will he do those things? Idk. But it seems clear it is likely some kind of brand product. So weed/THC and not a different class of drug. Which is a simpler matter, but still could cause action by the NFL.

Dupe thread.
Did not see it.

Did Tubescribe post it?

Nevertheless, there was one that was deleted, but this baby is from Schefter.

How do we know that's Diggs photoshopped?

The whole "gotta get a 'proven receiver'" thing has been, as I have said all along, a fool's errand, a sop to impatient fanboys who crave a shiny object which does a rebuilding team no good. A "proven player" is a player who has over time proven himself. Unfortunately, playing over an extended time also makes you older and, in a violent game, the injuries and wear and tear accumulate. By the time a rebuilding team can make actual use of his (declining) abilities, that shiny object has tarnished and worn down to a useless distraction. Add to this that there is typically a damned reason a "proven player" is available, often as a result of character issues. Typically as well, particularly among WR's, there is often a growing sense of entitlement, of immunity from the very expectations the meeting of which "proved" the player in the first place. That is the case with this bum, and that's what he is: a bum who is in the process of aging out and is already opting out of the expectations which even the most mediocre, and cheap, players should meet.

He talks a good game, but he's full of ****. There's reason his former teams dumped him.

Foolish from the start, and now you pay the price.

All we need is for Diggs to get busted with weed and NFL drug testing is implemented.

Weed is OK in the NFL per the collective bargaining agreement.

Weed is still banned for nfl players? I can’t imagine they care like they used to when it was illegal everywhere

What price? A WR was on a boat with weed, loud music, and dancing girls?

Old man yelling at clouds.
The Pats will pay the price hitching their wagons to Diggs with hopes on having an actual NFL pass offense.

If he is no go, then the NE 2025 WR corp is no better than the 2024 5hitshow.

No weed is not banned by the NFL.
Right just looked it up they unbanned it in 2020.

This is a big nothing story people.

Boomer freaking Karens need to chill

Either you are missing the point deliberately, or you are just plain stupid. Based on your posting history, I'm guessing it's the latter. Condolences. Must be tough.

Oh, and go **** yourself.

I said drug testing is implemented if Diggs is busted Snowflake.

In March 2020, the (NFL) changed its policy regarding cannabis after signing a new collective bargaining agreement with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). The agreement stipulated that positive tests would no longer result in a suspension and that players would only be suspended for missing multiple tests or refusing treatment.
