Dungy really neutralized his original comments and took the onus off the Patriots. We're all disappointed that this happened--that's the truth. We're all disappointed that it had any effect whatever on the league's reputation and especially on the reputation of our team and its coach. We're disappointed that this misconception has become part of conventional wisdom. Dungy, either cleverly or to his credit, was trying to get to the same place. Let's help him over the hump by beating the **** out of the Colts this Sunday.
