Well Gronk may have announced that he’s coming back but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t irked BB to the point where he ships him to the Lions. Then again kraft could step in again and prevent it.

I'm fairly sure that owners have to sign off on trades; I know Kraft insisted on talking to Moss face-to-face before that trade went through.

Sometimes I'm just wondering what pushes players to do such stupid things like this or smoking weed and posting it to watch for everyone. They are very often at the door to the professional career, to become a millionaire and waste it in one second. I cannot fathom it.

Considering we almost always draft at the end of the round I’d say a 2020 1st as well.

Seems like it would be simpler to just trade Brady and go from there.

Would Kraft let him? More likely in the circumstances of a massive trade like that would be that Tom has said this is his last year. I don’t put any stock in us trading up to no 1 overall though.

Can you imagine @KontradictioN if they did and didn’t take Mayfield? This would not be a pleasant place to be around

Just spitballing the hypothetical here but would anyone do this trade if they get a couple of players back.

Imagine if Brady has quietly told the FO that he’s not playing beyond his contract and the Pats have Darnold as their clear no1 QB.

Pats trade the above for CLE’s no 1. Get Darnold, Josh Gordon (don’t normally buy into the Josh Gordon thing but...) and Christian Kirksey. Maybe throw in Boddy-Calhoun too.

Note: I haven’t looked into their contract situations.
