WWYHD 2026 Draft Edition

I think you got spoiled by Gronk. Raridon is a decent blocker
Depends on your definition of decent.

I feel a drunk Bob Dylan is a decent singer of his songs and I also feel there's not much difference between a drunk or sober Bob Dylan.

I suspect he feels the same way.

You so are concerned, but do not know?
How would anybody "know" for sure who's gonna pick whom, before it happens? You assess the board and other teams' needs, which suggested that Jacas was gonna get taken between 55 and 63, and combine that risk with your own needs and appetite for the player.

I don't know for sure, but I remember the Pats were fairly convinced that the Commies preferred Daniels to Maye.

31 - Trade down - I hate to miss out on Lomu as I think he is so valuable and important for us... but the value of a minor trade down is too good. - Traded for 35 and 101 (basically the Bills trade down to the Titans more or less. So i didn't just pull it out of thin air.

35 - TJ Parker - EDGE (I like Gabe but I think this is the better player)
63 - Markel Bell - OT (I know he can't start instantly... and it may burn this year.. but i like his upside as much as Lomu and both probably won't be ready to go as much this year anyway.. and we will double dip later)
95 - Eli Raridon - TE
101 - Jermod McCoy - CB
125 - Trey Moore - DE
131 - Kyle Louis - LB
171 - Dametrious Crownover - OT
198 - VJ Payne - S
202 - Eli Heindenreich - RB/WR
212 - Jordan van den Berg - DT
247 - Deion Burks - WR or Garrett Nussmeier - QB. Can't go wrong with either.

For each of the first 2 picks, there were 3 options: trade up like we did, stay put and keep the two 4th's, or trade down a few spots for 1 or 2 more 4ths.

We were dealt the following hand at the end of r1:
- we absolutely needed a top tier OT, judged that to be our biggest need, and all of them but Lomu were gone by 21. The next one taken was around 35 picks later, proof there was a big drop-off there. There was imminent risk of him being taken before 31, so trading up to get him was the right move. Lomu better be good, because if we'd passed on him and taken our top pick for Edge instead, we'd have saved our two 4th's and probably would have traded down from 31 to about 35 for another; essentially we picked Lomu instead of a high 2nd and three 4th's.
- that also set up the situation at the end of R2, where the Edges were disappearing real fast. But given the solid decision to get Lomu, we had no choice but to trade the other 4th for Jacas, who never would have lasted 8 more spots. And really, at that point you could declare the draft a success, because we knew we got 2 starters at critical positions of need, and were pretty sure we could get a good TE at 95 to fill the other urgent need.
