Superbowls often come down to got to have it plays and amendola has made plenty.

Yes, if you make up a phony list of "must have" plays, you can come to that conclusion. It's sort of like saying Welker's not clutch because he dropped that one pass in 2011, despite that being the only target he didn't come up with that game. Watching that one play, which so many here originally blamed on Brady, become a symbol of the notion that Welker wasn't clutch has been both fascinating and disheartening, for what it says about both human tendencies over time and human idiocy.
According to Pro-Football-Reference.com, Welker had 69 catches on 90 targets (77%) in the playoffs, during his time in New England. Amendola's current 31 for 48 is 65%. Edelman's current 89 for 140 is 64%.
