Dolphins considering firing HC Adam Gase

...This is the way most teams in the NFL operate. The Pats' genuinely collaborative decision-making is extremely unusual...
"Collaborative"?

The Pats are likely one of the Least collaborative front offices in the entire league. Nothing happens upstairs, especially during draft weekend and the early stages of free agency, without Bill's say-so.

"Nothing happens"? It's been pretty well-documented that ratings of prospective draftees and FAs are collaborative, and that there's a lot of discussion about direction. BB having "the final say" doesn't mean that other's don't have recommendations that carry a lot of weight with him.

NFL organizations that are primarily top-down managed (most of them), rarely produced sustained success and often produce sustained failure.

why?

this is the dude who was the "oc" when peyton was in denver right? the same denver team everyone talks about how peyton called all his own plays?

Gase hasn't proven himself at all, i'd much rather get someone else./

Yes, anyone other than this slob! He’s worse than tomlin somehow

Wonder if that was a Bill Polian-esque hindsight.

It was in Lombardi’s football genius book. It was believable but I don’t have firsthand knowledge.
