Archangel continues to build his impressive lead. Don't be alarmed though if you feel yourself slipping behind. Our reigning champion (and a damn good-looking guy) Pat the Pats Fan was not in the lead when the playoffs began last year. In fact, I don't believe he was even in the top 3. I'll have to go back and look. But I probably won't. Bottom line, as long as you have a respectable chunk of money, you can win it all with a hot 4 weeks of playoff betting. Just dream about it. That puke-colored banner that Ian bestowed upon this game could be yours to display proudly!

There will also be rewards for how you finish in the rankings at the end of the year. These will win you additional betting money to carry over to next year. I will have to discuss this with my staff as I have no idea how this will be calculated at this time. But just know, a strong finish will be rewarded even if you don't win it all.

Even though the free bets will be gone this week, there will be some great props and parlays for individual games. If you noticed the new "Pick 1 of 3" bet that debuted last week, it pays (+250). There will be one of those bets for each of the night games and two for the Patriots' game.

Betting thread will be up Thursday late afternoon. Titans @ Packers (-3.5) currently for TNF. Patriots are sitting at (-3.0) at the moment. We'll see how the lines move over the next two days.

Buffalo (and Chicago) absolutely killed me last week. I lost $30K on two Buffalo bets because I tried to take advantage of the line movements once it was realized Josh Allen was playing. It worked for me in the past.
One suggestion I may make (maybe for next season) is that if a line moves more than 3 points because a QB is out or in then the line should change on here as well but all bets that were made prior to the line change should stand.

I may not be around later in time to place my Thursday bet so could you please put me down for $10K on Green Bay if the line is 3 or less. I'll pass if -3' . If you can't then no biggie. It's probably a loser.

I have in the past moved lines during the week when it has moved substantially. I think last year when Rodgers was out unexpectedly, the line went from Packers (-9.0) to around (-2.0) or something crazy.

I had considered moving the Bills line but it was only about a 2.5 point difference. It was a -3.5 because of the Allen uncertainty. It did move to -6.0 at kickoff. We were too far in at that point. The confusion of trying to move the line when most bets have been made, etc. If anything the (-3.5) we had should have been an advantage for anyone betting Buffalo. It's why a lot of lost when they lost!

Of course, I was wise enough to put Buffalo in a couple 7 point teasers! Moved them to (+3.5). Won those barely.

Right now, Packers are (-3.5). I will check again this afternoon before posting the lines. If it dips below 3, I'll take that bet for you. But it looks unlikely. But anytime that anyone is going to be away, I can take bets like that hinging upon the line. Not a problem.
