Who cares if he has a 4.3 speed. Hes not a deep threat.

Hes plateaued and as a WR4 who can't return kicks and punts hes mediocre.

yeah but he is pretty solid as a receiver and dependend when he gets the chance. He actually is a decent WR 3/4

Both Meyers and Berrios over Dorsett? Did I miss some reports?
Berrios was good in OTAs and I believe will build on that in TC and preseason. He will do well in the kicking game and make the team.

If Jakobi shows potential and is close to Dorsett, I could him overtaking him due to being locked in for 3 years being even then I think you carry 5 WRs and Dorsett still makes it.

Sorry. IMO he has no upside.

The boys put the pads on for the first time! As Bill would say, the real work starts today...

Live look if anyone wants to watch...

Not much to watch. A lot of chatter that doesn't matter.

If nothing else...he could pull a defender down the field opening up more open spots in other areas for other players. That speed will benefit the team. I think he makes the team and gets about 40 receptions.

Derek Rivers having a good season would be nice as well.
Make or break time, at least in NE. And him having that breakout year would be just what the Dr ordered w that group (DL)

I don't see the upside either but I think there need to be 2 WRs better than him outside of Mo Harris so really 3 and I don't see that. Berrios and Meyers both being better or least equal not sure. Meyers is making the roster. I see him making plays consistently. Not convinced Berrios will.

If you mean has no upside literally meaning there is nothing positive I disagree.
If you mean it as he is what he is and won’t get better that applies to almost all veterans.

When have you seen Meyers making plays consistently? I mean I hope he shocks the world but he hadn’t been here long enough for anything to be called consistent. There have been 3 practices.

Hes a low- ceiling backup. Nothing more.

Hope you're right.. it's very early but he needs to catch everything.. does he have enough quickness for separation ... We will soon find out

He is what he is with 4.3 speed. It is all about matchups. We don't need 4 slot guys, even if they have great hands, are really quick, or tall and can leap. Spreading the field means someone is open, and Dorsett helps to spread the field even if he is mediocre. We don't need superstars everywhere, role players, like Dorsett, will take us to another Super Bowl. Dorsett knows who he is and plays his role. Good guy even if he is not a binky with upside.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Pats divide up the snaps at RB this year between Michel, Burkhead, White, Harris, and Develin.
