And he's another shining example of why the Pats need to re-evaluate their offensive and defensive systems. When you give away a guy like Thomas because he "doesn't fit" that's a problem.

When you pass up on a LB like Clay Matthews because he "doesn't fit your system," that's a problem, too.

I'm missing where David Thomas turned into a good Tight End. He had 350 yards receiving and 1 TD this year. He can't block at all.


If he still played for the Pats you'd all be screaming about how hes a bust.



As to Matthews, they missed, but so did 25 other teams.
