BELIEVE ME...

in south Lombardia these results are showing good results !

Don't know if this is behind the paywall, but here's a nice article on what DEMONSTRABLY worked in other countries:
Opinion | They’ve Contained the Coronavirus. Here’s How.

Short summary - there are many ways to make a difference, most of them common sense. But all start with realizing that this needs to be taken seriously, that time is of the essence, and that information/science/experience are on your side.

We know why that is: Because the media presents nothing but a barrage of non-stop negative coverage of the guy.

If the media treated Trump with the soft gloves they treated Obama with, he’d be in the 60’s.
Red team ****s on blue team, blue team ****s on red team. Fox News has Glenn Beck screaming Obama was a Nazi Facist and the red ate it up. Don’t pretend there is one centered news station in this country and all of the others are askew.

I'll take our nation's response to this over China's any day. It's almost as if some of you are rooting for China over the US.
Is that something like you rooting for the Caps over the Bruins? Lmao

That validates my point even more. He claimed the rate was much lower and I pointed to the 2.5% mortality and now in Italy, a developed country it is over 6%

Seems a big part of the mortality rate, predictably, involves being able to bend that curve so that those who need hospitalization and treatment will be able to get it. Italy, a first-world health care system in a rich area of the country (Milan) got overwhelmed, forcing doctors to choose which patients got the ventilators...or, which they had to let die. i cannot imagine the effect things like that have on a person's psyche. It's like a Sophi's Choice for healthcare professionals.

Several countries have been exemplary in this, and their mortality rate seems more like .5%.

OK, we're done. I give you a ton of verified, factual information refuting your claim and you don't care, countering with a poll more than two years old of 1,300 people from an outlier website. Adios!

Did you even click on the link? The poll was by Gallup, hardly an outlier organization. Economic data can be spun in many ways. My point is that people are much happier with the economy NOW than when Obama was President - I'm talking about real people. For example, if you had a crappy job or a temporary one, you are counted as "employed." This worker, however, feels like he or she is unemployed. So it's not just about numbers but whether you are happy with the state of the economy.

National emergency to be declared at any moment.

Ahh Singapore, excellent comparison to a country that also closed off travel to China. We both made very good timing on the first move to slowing transmission. Fortunately for citizens of Singapore, their step 2 was seamless. SG government has been contract tracing and imposing quarantine in proactive manners since January. The equivalencies end there, our step 2 is still fumbling about 6 weeks later.

Maybe the Bruins would have won this year...oh well

The guy who thinks windmills cause cancer and that there were airports in 1775?

No need to convince me about Trump's shortcomings, I've just become fatigued to the criticism now for years. I'm just calling it like I see it without a dog in the race.

I just think Trump is going to TKO Biden based on their personalities and previous campaigns. Obviously I could be wrong.

So what does it tell you that the President with the highest economic approval rating in 20 years has an overall approval rating of 42 percent?
