Ok so I created a wide receiver named Marshall Moss. I gave him 17 agi/17 spd Now what?

I don't know if anyone else did this, but i actually spent some cash to get more flex points... maybe i am taking this too seriously

I haven't... yet...

I've thought about it, but decided I'm OK with letting Pio make his own way for now.

We've got most of the starter spots filled but if anyone's interested in joining a USA team, I own the "Cape Cod Jagged Shoals":

Yes, three of the guys really love the Bills

Only if you need a WR. Offer me a contract if you need wideouts.

So I'm curious, how much can you grow your stats? Does the best WR have like 99 spd, 99 agi, and 99 catching?

i think the highest leveled player in the game is like lv. 12 so i doubt it, you can get up to level 100 though

Someone tell me if they can see what I'm doing wrong then:

I just renegotiated a couple contracts today, so my GM deal is definitely working. The others probably just need to check to make sure that they have privileges to do whatever they're trying to do.

Now jack up Stamina and catching, and level him up 3 levels with flex points.

Don't feel too bad- I dropped some cash too. Gotta keep both of my guys leveled up and in the best gear, and if that's what it takes then that's what it takes

BTW- Does anyone know exactly how off-day experience is accrued? Is it based on training intensity? And, if so, what's the breakdown? Tank is 380 exp from leveling, and has 68 energy. I assume that, no matter what I do, he's not going to level up before the game, so I've set his training down to relaxed so he can go into the game at full intensity with 100 energy. If it's possible to get him leveled up before the game, though, then I'd rather go that route. I'm a little worried that Pietro is pulling considerably ahead of Tank in exp (he leveled up yesterday), even though tank has more STA, but that's probably just because we have more DL depth than CB, and DTs lose energy faster than CBs do.

I got 5 skill points for leveling from 1 to 2. Will I get more than that all subsequent times I level, or is it always 5? Or is the formula a bit more complicated than that?

Oh yeah question. What does play intensity do? I can set it to relaxed, normal, or intense. I just have mine at normal right now.
I only have 100 flex points, so I could level up once or make another player, maybe a lineman?
Could someone create a player using my referral so I can earn some flex points?

ok well mine isn't working yet and i desperately need the deals restructured for: AD Train, Kicky Mcboot, and Punty Mcboot for somewhere around 40-50k apiece so I can boost them up with flex and continue to train on intense. If you see this please help me restructure. Also we should cut some of those CPU players to save the team some money.

More questions.
I'm thinking of making an OL. Should I choose G, C, or OT?
What stats are most important for an OL?
If I accept an offer from a computer team, can I change to a player team later as soon as I get a better offer or is there a waiting period?
How much experience/cash do you earn per game and how frequent are games?
Are there Patsfan specific teams playing in the same league that I could join?

The first question is a team need basis, but generally every team could use a OT
The most important stats are probably strength, blocking and stamina
THere are no longer any computer controlled teams, they have all been bought
You gain experience based on how many plays you are on the field for, how much money you earn per game is based on the contract you sign, you can see the amt. in the stats screen
Yes there is a Patsfan team, the New England Burning Pride i think, i'm not on the team, fnordcircle could give you more info on their team.

Ok, this last one may sound weird... but how do you determine how big your player will be? Is it based on the stats somehow? My wide receiver is 6'2 which is a decent size but my OT is only 6'2. Does height help linemen? How do I make a taller one? My lineman's name is Roadkill. LOL.

Your height and weight are random to the point where they fall within a certain range, you wont ever get a OT that weighs 230 lbs and you wont get a QB that weighs 300. Height apparently does make some impact but it isnt generally associated with OL, it makes an impact with QB, WR, TE, DL, LB, and DB

I sent them contract offers just now. Don't think I have the authority to cut anyone though, so that'll have to wait for now. In the meantime, what's your referral link? I'll set up an account under your referral to get you some flex points to level AD Train up.

That's pretty much right on. Anyone that needs an invite, just post your player name, and either fnord or one of the GMs will send you a contract offer. The general policy that we've established is to send a pretty baseline offer at first, and if you show signs of leveling up and sticking around, we'll renegotiate pretty quickly.
It's a shame that all of the teams have been bought- I was enjoying the little exploit where you could sign with a CPU team, take the signing bonus, and then immediately get bought out by a human player. Oh well.

Also, if we're realistically going to win this next game, we need everyone to be leveled up pretty well. You're allowed three flex point levels per season, and anyone who hasn't used their flex points for this purpose should now. If you don't have enough flex points to do this, then either buy some or post your referral link here so we can make some dummy accounts off of them and get you some points.

Also, as you level up your character, here's a note from personal experience: Stats and football skills should come before special abilities. I loaded up on the abilities early, only to find out that they really don't do much if your raw skills aren't up there yet. The best move is probably to focus on your core skills (WR: stamina, speed, catching, agility, or something like that) and your secondary (WR: jumping, vision?) and hold off on the ability trees until level 8+
