Yeah if only to not let the Queefs grab him. Plus he is dynamic as all hell.
If they dont get him they will take Skattebo.....sadly if they get either one they have a stub at RB position to go along side Pacheco.

In the 1973 NFL draft, the Patriots selected an OG named John Hannah with the fourth pick in the first round.
That is in my opinion the second best pick in Patriots history. Your not going to find a talent like Hannah but once in generation.

Hard to imagine a QB at Colorado (decent conference) for 2 years and threw for over 7000 yards, 70%/74% completion rate in 2023/2024, 64 TDs, and 13 interceptions is not a Top 10, and probably, a Top 5 pick. Sanders has gotten better every year, and his team has constantly improved as well..
I think his numbers are deceptive. I think his receivers (Hunter) bail him out on a lot of his throws. They always seem off the mark and from what I saw I think he throws a ball that in the NFL has INT written all over it.

74% completion is very very good. 64 TDs to 13 Ints - very impressive. Sanders was on Colorado who was one of the worst teams in the country the year before he showed up. 2 years later Colorado missed the National Playoffs by 1 win. The guy is a winner. The results are remarkable.

I am not sure those achievements happen if his throws are always "off the mark".

I sure hope some teams are as sold as you are and they either take him ahead of us or give us some serious assets to draft him.

Shedeur Mac Jones according to you.

Shedeur Sanders is a very accurate passer he has that going for him. People seem to forget about weak armed Drew Brees he had a Hof career being accurate.

Have you ever met a prospect you didn't like? Ever?
Yes: that Steve102 plays like he's running in mud...I'm really feeling Steve103. Keep It up Steve well that's what she said.

Colorado got better mostly because his Father can recruit and brough 52 new players into the program via the transfer portal....including his son and Hunter.

As far as the QB Sanders, he has been given all of the QB education a young player can get, but he is limited athletically, and the offense was very simple. The question of how he translates to the NFL is very real, and he will likely be significantly over drafted.

I watched enough of Hunters highlights to see that Sanders ball placement is not the best and only because of Hunters athletic ability were they catches. Time will tell once he get in the league we will see how good he is when he is not playing teams like Oklahoma State.

Bo Nix 2023 Oregon - 77% completion, 45 TDs to 3 INT, PR 188
Bo Nix 2024 Broncos - 66% completion, 29 TDs to 12 INT, PR 93

How Sanders translates is a fair question. Most QBs are over drafted - last year everyone thought Nix was overdrafted at #12, but he did OK. And yes, Colorado got better due to new players into the program, but Colorado got better both years and the QB has something to do with that

2023 Broncos without Bo Nix 8 - 9
2024 Broncos with Bo Nix 10 - 7

Isn't this fun?

Glad the Pats are not looking for a QB this year.

What has Sanders done to lock himself into a top 10 pick?

The fact that he doesn’t want to work out for teams is a huge red flag for me, and I wouldn’t like the fact that Deion will be looking over your shoulder.

Personally I would prefer Joe Milton if forced to choose between he and Sanders.
Literally 'Be A Quarterback'.
He's got a ceiling that projects to a long-term starter, but he's certainly not there yet. Neither is Cam Ward for that matter, although he's much closer. Ward is mentality (willingness to run, willingness to check down), and some mechanical things with his release point to make it more consistent. Sanders has much more limited arm strength. It's not Bailey Zappe bad, so it's certainly workable, but he's a longer-term project.

Shedeur Mac Jones according to you.
Honestly, their arm strength is pretty similar.
Mac was more accurate in college - but then again, he had how many first rounders he was throwing to?

Definitely I'm staying on the Shedeur Sanders is going to be good Island.

Brees didn't have a weak arm until he blew out his shoulder in the pros.
