Might want to check and see if he even wants to play, after he suffered yet another concussion.

Before his concussion ridden 2017 season, he'd had 4 straight 50 catch years. If he's 100% recovered, he's an upgrade as a pass catching TE. The problems are:

• Recovery questions ....
  
• ... Does he really want to keep playing

And here it is...

Fleener was in the #Saints building every day, still receiving treatment from the final concussion he suffered. He still wants to play if he returns to full health.

The "sign the beast" has morphed in to "sign any beast" the Pats are not the Cleveland Browns and can pick and choose..

If Hooman and 37 Year old Ben Watson beat him out, there has to be other issues(concussion?).. particularly as the Saints paid him something like 3 million in February..
