Bears defense scoring TDs in record numbers
They are scary good this year. They have about 8 or 9 defensive TDs 9 games into the season which is almost unheard of.. Man i wish our D was half as good. The only D i can remember being this good are the early 2000 Ravens....Were the 85 Bears this good?
Which they lost, and Grossman lost his starting job a month in to the season the following year.
I see your point, but the league is a QB league now.
They're one Jay Cutler Hissyfit away from 8-8.
Charles Tillman is playing completely out of his mind right now. The guy's crazy good.
They have zero shot as long as Cutler is their QB.
The last time I said that about a QB was when Jake Plummer ended TB's playoff winning streak at Mile High.
Cutler has a world of talent and now can play the role of a Trent Dilfer, except with skills.
Cutler seems to be their weakest link, no doubt
The thing about this Bears D is that it isn't a shut down defense. You can still put points on them. The thing is they are good at getting turnovers... for now. I still think the 49ers Defense is the class of the league. They've been so consistent week in and week out for 1.5 seasons now.
This is why the Bears are so good at forcing turnovers:
Tillman has seven of these so far these year. That's amazing technique, and I think it's coached. The Bears are always good at this.
