CHANGE THE CULTURE? HOW ABOUT A "BLOCK BUSTER TRADE" WITH SOME OTHER PIECES ADDED?

@DW Toys The first paragraphs or so of your posts are always so…yummy? As for the rest of it? Sure, why not? Wont be any worse than last year.

Good day Cousins.
Missed you at breakfast. Two min-croissants with one egg appease, a slice of hickory smoked bacon and American cheese with some coffee and a side of cranberry juice?
Got to thinking on this culture thing. I weighed our assets and looked at our needs.
We have to overpay for two players ASAP. Ronnie Stanley and Tee Higgins. Overpay hurts but the FO brought this on themselves. I think players will want to play for Vrabel.

Now the tricking part that will no doubt bother some:
I am going to the Raiders and talk to Pete. I know some don't want to here this but Joe Milton III might be the third best QB if he was in this class. Raiders again will miss out unless they decide to gamble on Jalen Milroe.....yech! Milton throwing 60 yard bombs is pure Raider folk law.
We have the funds to do this deal. Trade Milton, one of our third Round picks and Pete is going to be looking for his new Earl Thomas, type saftey......... so trade him Kyle Dugger also for............Maxx Crosby. Crazy? I think not. You will have to extend Cosby and we can.

Now for a little side bar......I am trading a 4th Rounder to the Niners for Deebo Sanuel He has been beat up but he's only 29 and his contract is reasonable until 2027. Tee Higgins is a weapon but Samuel is a playmaker WE JUST DON'T HAVE! Think what Josh can do.

One more piece to the sauce. DE Jeffrey Simmons of the Titans would love to play for Vrabel again.....Why not about pick for him? He's only 27.
Now get back to the Draft. Get wout OT and Edge guy.

Are thes moves inpossibel? No.
This changes the face of the Patriots for 2025 and I feel make us a contender for at least the playoffs.

OK Cousins ...Toirture me.

Cousin! Good to hear from you again! You make great sense cousin.. what we have to stop and look at is we have one of the best offensive minds in the game in McDaniels.. a young QB that has the potential to be a top 5 player in the league. Imagine what McDaniels could do have Deebo and rham both lined up in the backfield, even if Deebo isn't the same player as he's been injured alot the same can be said for Chris Godwin. An offense with Deebo, DK metcalf, Henry, pop, Boutte , rham and gibby is pretty good. On defense yes! Give me Jeffery Simmons probably the best player at his position in the league!

PBP... I'm really feeling the idea of Deebo Samuel in the offense.. he wouldn't have to be the primary guy he would be the jack knife he can line up everywhere.. imagine the fits we can give to defenses with gibby and deeboo both lined up in the backfield or out wide. This offense will be multiple under McDaniels.. no more one trick pony.. guys will thrive.

Hey Cousin. I believe your last words were “ torture me.” So we need to start by discussing their 3rd pick overall in the 24’ Draft. You know, the one you kept insisting to me that they needed to trade away. Do you still believe they should have passed up Drake Maye Cousin?

OK, torture over.

As always your trades never fail to disappoint. Hope all is well.

Love the possibilities, and LOVE your imagination with these trades. So let make sure I got you right. You want to trade Milton, duggar and a 3rd round pick for Max Crosby. That's intriguing no doubt. Crosby is an elite edge rusher and if you can add Carter or Graham you immediately improve your rush game 1000%. However, I would like to point out these thoughts. I just read an article that might explain Duggar's poor season. It seems, according to the article. the ankle he injured was misdiagnosed and he played with it and in a lot of pain because of it. Surgery this off season should fix the problem. As for Milton I would opine this. His game against Buffalo was an eyeopener for sure, but it was played against 2nd rate talent and probably wasn't game planned as thoroughly as most regular season games. But that doesn't mean he didn't come a LONG way his rookie season. There are 2 reasons I would be reluctant to trade him this off season. First, I think the Pats could use him within a package of plays and he might be a very effective back up since QB's get hurt all the time. 2nd I believe that Milton will bring back a LOT more in trade and draft capitol in a year or 2, more in the range of a first or 2nd if he looks decent during those times he gets a chance. His Physical skill set is as good as anyone else's in the league.

As for grabbing Higgins and Stanley in FA, I believe Stanely would be worth the overpay, but Higgins not so much. First I believe Cinci will resign him, and 2ndly, if he does leave it will be to a contender unless we MASSIVELY overpay. Being just the highest bidder will not be enough. Add that to the fact that I question if Higgins truly IS an elite #1 WR, and consistently create separation on his own, or was a lot of his success due to having a top 3 QB and perhaps the premier #1 WR playing alongside of him. No question he'd make the WR room better, but not enough to be worth of a massive overpay. BTW- I would love the idea of Deebo for a 4th all day
.
Wrong they will back up the brinks for Ja'marr Chase no way they are paying Two WRs Top Dollar. Higgins will be free: yes and we should overpay... because he's just that dam good.

Would you take Higgins and trade for kupp or Deebo?? Even though I can't see Mcvay wanting to move kupp... don't forget brother.. McDaniels will use gibby how Buffalo uses cook.. we will be a top 10 offense next season brother!

ken: knowing how we probably have the SB winner in our Division the Bills hopefully this year. Allen still in his Prime: I don't think Vrabel and McDaniels are going tits up in this division. We could be playing for Second place. The Jets and Miami might be on downward spiral... gotta get Drake Maye weapons by any means necessary.

Did I say yes?? IF we get Higgins - Deebo or Cupp add a Left Tackle like Stanley - A Jackson or Cam Robinson. We can use the Draft to Build the Defense. IF we do well in both areas FA and the Draft: it's back to prominence Brother.

Brother.. I feel much more confident with Vrabel at the helm Brother.. we have been bottom feeders the last 4 years.. bad drafting and FA bust and coaching is why we are here with the 4th overall pick. Polk and baker can thrive under Vrabel and McDaniels.. they will be developed correctly.. imagine if polk and baker have a branch and Givens type impact.. also adding Higgins, or deebo or DK. I think Vrabel is going to try and trade for Simmons too.. just my hunch..

I can never root for a team in our division to win the SB Brother.. as you mentioned all it takes hitting on a few guys and teams are right back in it the next season.. we are living proof.. we can definitely be in the post season next year.. I think Vrabel is the best coach in our division.. McDermott is riding Josh Allen's coat tail..

Count me in for the inevitable Maye vs Vrabel debates after the turnaround bears championship fruit. LOL

Oh boy!! I'd welcome that conversation lol... as you've seen me post.. all the players on offense stand to greatly benefit from McDaniels prowess as OC... specifically pop, Gibson. Teams copied what we did over the years winning championships.. look at KC they are winning using the Patriots early 2000s offense. Look at Buffalo they are using cook how we used white, lewis, faulk, woodhead, vereen. Everyone has taken ideas from us. The slot and 3rd down back will allow the offense to convert 3rd downs keep the QB in rhythm and put pressure on defenses.. Drake alone is a match up nightmare for DCs. Now he has a real OC.

didn't the Bengals already back up Chase's money truck? And while, of course, Higgins COULD leave, it would take a MASSIVE overpay to get him. We would have to make him the highest paid receiver in the league on a long term contract and I don't think he's among the top 7 guys. So even though he is often rated by many to be the #1 WR in FA, he isn't worth the $40mm/yr mostly guaranteed contract it would take to give him (btw- JJefferson gets $36mm/yr currently almost fully guaranteed)

don't disagree at all, It's just a matter of priorities. Does Maye absolutely have to have an elite #1 WR (and I don't think Higgins IS one) TODAY, at this stage of his development? Or rather use that capital on the OL/DL/Edge/LB etc and get a good WR who would improve the room (a la Godwin)

I want that ELITE #1 when Maye had developed enough to fully utilize that kind of investment. As of this moment, Maye is a great prospect, but he hasn't proven he can run an effective hurry up offense yet. That will come, and come soon, but it has to be learned

I'm rooting for the Bills, btw

Nope, Chase will be entering his option year @ $22M which is probably about half of what his AAV will be on his extension

I hope that he never has to fill-in (because that would mean that Maye got hurt), but his camp work and pre-season work, combined with teams that will see that he may be better than what's out there to draft in another year, and he could be more valuable. In the meantime, we should keep him as an affordable backup and groom him to be hopefully serious trade bait.
I hope he gets some clean up time because we are smacking the **** out of the Jets

I think we just need 2/3s and OL for a successful passing game. I think the #1 WR is an overrated concept. I am a fan of Josh Allen, so yea Go BILLS! I just threw up though and will never say or type that again.

I agree with your overall post. On Drake I'll say that his rookie season in comparison to who he's compared too in Allen is far more impressive. Allen didn't even look like he belonged on the active roster his rookie season. Drake has shown what he's capable of. The talent and potential is there. He was drafted into an unstable situation. On the skill positions.. each day my mind changes on how I want to get that "guy" for drake.. I'm starting to warm up to the idea if going after cupp and signing tee Higgins.. Vrabel I fully entrust to get some pass rushers and difference makers in here.
