After surprising us all by starting 6-0, McDaniels had his players playing hard for him.
But since then, his team has imploded going 2-8 in the last 10 games causing them to watch the playoffs from home this year.
With the way McDaniels has handled his team, by benching Marshall and Scheffler in a must-win game and becoming unpopular with his players, there is a chance of him being fired.
If he is fired, what are the chances he returns to New England as Offensive Coordinator next year?
IMO, he isn't quite mature enough yet to be an effective Head Coach but was a great OC in his time here. Although O'Brien is only in his first year as OC, McDaniels would improve this offense significantly if he returned.
