This was a bit of a toughie as he has the talent to be a top CB and when he was out there (to his credit or not) the defense played well and with confidence.
However the off-the-field stuff, his injury history with the team and a the CB market starting to level-off and still good players out there allowed the team to feel that they didn't need to over-commit- IE they had leverage.
If Talib had a better deal out there, he would have taken is so here we are...
I'm glad he is back.
Hope the team focus on the pass rush, DT, Edelman, Seabass and maybe a vet dime DB in case Ras-I can't get out of the doctor's office
