Can someone tell me what the Patriots are doing? Now Cooks is gone?

This guy would have set himself on fire with gasoline if he was around when BB cut Milloy a few days before the opener.

No perspective these days...it's all knee jerk, sky falling "hot takes".
What -- you've got something against people who sit in the Putnam Club glued to fantasy numbers on their smartphones while drinking light beer and glancing occasionally at action on the field? Man, not cool!

BB is winging it because he knows Kraft is about to put Guerrero in charge of the team.

Relax. They have a plan and we will know what it is on Draft Night. I think it we could see a 2012 type draft in the first round where BB goes both defense or takes a LT and DB/LB/DE. I don't believe the hype about a QB. I think it's more of the Dwayne Robertson psych out on the Jets.

Well, he's got a point, there, boys...Our pass runners are among the league's worst.
"Pass runner" ... That's an interesting catch-all for any number of positions. I'll bet if I told the neighbor lady it's a real football position she'd believe me. The parrot knows better, though -- nothing fools that guy.

Well I guess BB is content for another 2009 season. Remember that season?

Vaguely. It’s one of those years in this current streak of 15 straight 10+ win seasons. BB sucks at this. My only question for you is will you apply to be the GM role only, or are you also okay with coaching?

No. I'm looking at if any players can make an impact and NONE of them can. Sherman definitely would have made an impact on these trash pass runners, which by the way were completely exposed in the SB. The WR core is weak. All it takes for one more injury to Edelman who almost never stays healthy, and that's it. They're out looking for a WR again. Awful trade.

And relying on Malcolm Mitchell? WHAT? Since when the hell can this guy show he can ever stay healthy? His knees have been shot for years already. He will NEVER be healthy.
it's still a good trade. don't sleep on Riley McCarron.

Team is paying the price of several "more misses than hits" drafts. No room for overpaid veterans looking for one fat contract to ride into retirement. We need young, cheap talent on both sides of the ball, guys who should be good enough to provide some immediate impact. Four picks in first two rounds, now it is the time to make something out of it.

Is it me, or does the off season seem to be longer than usual???...

Methinks folks like Felger have more influence on fans, than common sense or the history of how this team is built year to year....

That's pretty accurate of society in general.

No one bothers to think anymore either

Teams always miss in the draft more than they hit. The Patriots are no different than every team in the NFL.

Ron Wolff's philosophy was if a team can land 2 starters and a role player in a draft they are ahead of the game

In this fairly comprehensive analysis the NEP are the 7th best drafting team in the NFL the last 5 years. I'll take that

Grading every NFL team's draft performance over the last 5 years
