Camp surprise cut 2024

Dead cap is a net negative, there’s nothing good about it.

That’s like saying the guy who was rock climbing and got his arm caught in between two boulders, then had to cut his arm off with his pocket knife to survive had a great experience climbing that day.

Stop being willfully ignorant.
false
it is better than being on the hook for the entire contract, similar to every other major sport
sure, signing a player that does not work out is not a good thing. no one disagrees. but being able to cut bait for a fraction of the cost of the entire contract is huge.
there is no sense arguing the point. you have never understood this, and never will

#DefendTheWall

It’s never Bill or his defense’s fault that’s why he is coaching somewhere now. Oh wait
You don’t understand football.

One playoff game in 2021 isn’t the sum of five starts, the offense wasn’t always playing from behind. The offense was playing from behind in that game because Mac threw an interception on the very first drive, he threw an interception on the very first drive exiting the half.

The defense didn’t play well either, in football shootouts happen. If Mac was Herbert or Burrow instead they could have competed in a shoot-out and hopefully our D would have made more plays in the end… but Mac sucked. He didn’t score a TD until garbage time when Bills had their backups on the field.
A defense allowing TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD all but one drive being over 50 yards is described as “didn’t play well”. Lol. Ya think?

I can play the if game too. If BB was a good coach and GM the last few years the Patriots would still be playoff contenders even without the GoaT.

Debt is useful in the real world because it can be used to build credit.

There’s no credit in the NFL. Dead cap is not good… stop being obtuse.

Did you just respond to the same post twice?

Stop spamming the board.

I understand that our former coach and GM won’t ever get a shot as his precious record because of his own doing. Right from the textbook how to ruin a young QB… the kind of stuff we’d all mock the Jets for doing.

Zappe was better than Mac statistically, doesn’t mean he was good, just better than Mac. Your obsession with Zappe is odd, he’ll be gone soon also and you can obsess over his ghost the way you do BB and TB12.
No he was not better statistically.

I just like making fun of low information fans who wave his pom poms. Like one of his biggest fanboys who tell me to be here after the chargers game then they’re nowhere to be found after Zappe was shut out by the worst defense in football…funny how that works eh?

Zappe’s career QB rating as a starter is almost the same as Mac’s, only Zappe inherited beat up, more dysfunctional teams after Mac flamed out. They were both bad, Mac had better teams.

Your obsession with Zappe is weird. Stop spamming the board.

obviously it is Jones fault that Bill’s defense gave up an 80 yard TD drive after that. Bb isn’t here anymore put the Pom poms away

“As a starter” lololol

Jones was ruined by a lousy HC post Brady, nobody ruined Zappe he never belonged in the league.

Keep defending the wall though!

Yes you said that already, who’s spamming the board again?

So who do we think is a surprise cut candidate this camp guys?

So who do we think is a surprise cut candidate this camp guys?
Okorafor... why? Many/most have him penciled in as a starter.

Suppose Calvin Anderson is healthy, Caeden Wallace and Zuri Henry look great in camp and preseason.

If not cut, they could possibly trade Chuks....

Pure surprise would be someone like Rhamondre. He had a horrible year and who says the new staff is in love with him.
I agree with this. He has been looking more like Laurence Maroney than his old self, tiptoeing around the line of scrimmage with a greater commitment to his physical well-being than to gaining yards.

Rhamondre is not getting cut lol. We have zero depth at RB.

I don’t think he will, but KJ Osborn feels like a candidate here.
Finding "depth" at running back is about as hard as finding french fries at Burger King. Just ask the nice lady and she'll hand you a bag of 'em for very short money.
