dead cap space is a poor excuse, and dead cap space often creates more cap space.
the two highest cap hits on the team were bot OG's (Thuney and Mason)
the roster was piss poor because of bad drafts. period
I love to to see somebody dispute that ^.

Didn't realize there would be a big cap hit to cutting Juju now. Makes sense

I've been saying all off-season, especially after the photo of his ding-dong became public, that he would've Already been released if the difference between keeping him and not keeping him were only $2M as some here were claiming.

There's always one. Your predictions?

My pick is Chad Ryland. Might have been Strange but he's probably hitting PUP or IR.

Jontrey Hunter...?

Since the Buffalo wind game in 2021, the defense has allowed:

33 L
47 L
24 L
35 L
25 W
27 L

That's an average of almost 32 points per game. I'm not really sure what's being debated here about how good their defense is.

I'm a bit confused on this rain man? Those are 6 games in wich thinking off the top of my head, the offense turned the ball over thus putting the defense in terrible spots. Dallas and NO last season. last season you could count on the offense to give the other team multiple scoring opportunities.

Let's not pretend it was a shrewd move. He was a desperation signing, nothing more.

If they really wanted him he would have been signed well before late June. Shouldn't be surprised they were desperate...they had no succession plan after the GOAT took his talents to Tampa.
They wanted a bridge QB, he worked out well for them, Mac just sucked. Ryan Fitzpatric, Andy Dalton and other better regarded bridge QB’s got 4x the money Cam got.
BB completely botching the development of a young QB was done right by the book of how to ruin your young QB. This isn't the first nor will it be the last time a young QB was ruined by an epic coaching failure. It wasn't as much of a miss as it was wretched coaching.
Mac sucked, but you think he’ll be good now that he’s out from under BB… so when’s he taking Trevor Lawrence’s job so you think, give us a week?

Alot of O lineman playing with Mahomes will look like all pros.. Brady made trent brown look like an all pro and many others..

When Mahomes lines have been injury riddled or outright bad he has run for his life and gotten the snot kicked out of him… like every other QB in history.

QB’s aren’t magicians. Get over the QB fanboy nonsense. Mahomes lines are all pros because they were before they signed there as free agents. They have had one of the most expensive lines in the NFL for years.

The scores I took were the last 6 meetings between the Pats and Bills. The poor offense as an excuse for the defense getting overmatched by better teams needs to end. If you need an offense to have a good defense, then you really don't have a good defense. This was how Bill decided to build his teams by using most of his resources on that side of the ball. The offense has been **** since 2020 and the defense clearly hasn't been good enough to back them up. So we can't sit here and complain and point fingers at the offense because the defense can't show up when the competition gets better.

This defense has been fooling a lot of fans and media the last few years. Had they not beat up on bad teams, then you'd see how there not a really good defense. Good to elite QB's have not been fazed facing BB for years.

Dead cap creates more dead cap… genius. Tell the Chargers not to worry about that JC Jackson dead cap, it’s actually a good thing. And tell the 49ers to pay Aiyuk already, the cap doesn’t exist.

The Pats were very good drafters up until 2016, 2017 they didn’t draft at all trading all their picks into the future. 2018 was a decent class, even if their top pick missed that season. Sony ran them to a ring, and three other players from that class are still playing well.

From 2019 they missed a lot of draft picks, but they weren’t going to be good in 2020 and Tom wasn’t staying if they drafted AJ Brown instead of Harry. His marriage was on the rocks, she wanted out. From 2019-2020 they drafted poorly and BB needed some help.

I’ve said repeatedly I’ve liked the personnel moves by the collaboration, not all of them but most… they just missed on Mac, he stunk. Also the coaching. had to change, BB and Jonathan couldn’t exist together anymore and Jon owns the team.

Because cherry picking six individual games out of 34 played the last two seasons is not how you judge defense.

Especially when many of those points allowed came from Mac pick sixes and turnovers, not a failure by the defense… on a per game basis Mac lead the league at both the last two years.

Ok so by your logic the O-line makes the QB? Like D lineman most o lineman are big physically imposing guys that are not good at throwing or catching so they have a gift of strength. Great QB play can aid an o line.. was Matt light a pro bowler before brady became a starter? Woody? Koppen? They all have said brady made thier lives so much easier. Mahomes line wasn't all that great last season but he still got to another SB. Brady looked like a pretty good magician to me at times especially when we didn't have great o line play the non scar years. Of course if the line doesn't protect the QB has no time.. but when you get rid of the ball like brady did usually 1.8 seconds as von Miller said he timed.. it makes thier job so much easier.

It’s relevant. Bill’s defense hasn’t shut down good teams like Buffalo ever since Brady left. Truth hurts.
