And how many turnovers did our offense have? How many pick sixes? How many turnovers did they commit on the opponent’s side of the field, how many giveaways that placed opposing offenses in their red zone? How many three and outs did our offense have?

It’s pretty simple, you can’t read or comprehend team stats.
What you and others continually fail to understand is that’s how Bill built the team - through the defense. So when the offense makes a mistake, the defense has to back them up - which they don’t. You can’t have it both ways saying that Bill neglected the offense, yet blame the offense because the defense gets shredded by any competent opposing offense. Zero drafted Pro Bowlers or All Pro’s. If it weren’t for Judon they’d have none on that side of the ball. You can’t be ranked were they and not have a least a couple Pro Bowl/All Pro players. Clearly their peers don’t think they are any good. This defense is pedestrian.

Yes, when you have Brady or Mahomes as your quarterback, you BUILD through the Defense.

We’re not talking about Brady or Mahomes. This is referring to post Brady.

And Bill flat out neglected the offense.

Every single thread is now just Wozzy defending everything Bill did.

When you have a top 5-10 Defense, you need to BUILD through the Offense.

Belichick did much worse than neglect the Offense. He openly sabotaged the Offense by putting making Patricia OC and OL coach and Judge the QB coach.

I agree with this. He has been looking more like Laurence Maroney than his old self, tiptoeing around the line of scrimmage with a greater commitment to his physical well-being than to gaining yards.
wait, what?
Stevenson did injure last year after total over use by Bill
in addition, the new management team did extend him just a few weeks ago
I seriously doubt he is a candidate to not make the team

You guys obviously get on

I think they will give him every opportunity, and that that they should. I am not confident, however, that he will show himself to be "irreplaceable" or anything like it, particularly given that decent RB's are as abunndant and as comparatively cheap as they are. I have nothing against him, and to the extent his decline is attributable to injury my heart goes out to him, but this is a bottom-line business, and players are a commodity, as unpleasant as it is to reflect on this fact.

How could a Head Coach of BB stature, make such a humongous mistake of putting Patricia and Judge in charge of the offence. Come on all you seasoned pros hands up who thought it was a great decision. Don't be shy.

Hubris. Ego. Wanting to be the contrarian in the room.

just a few weeks ago they gave him $17m guaranteed. I have to think that alone makes him a roster lock

Was a large part of his down fall. It was so right he went. I'm sorry but he was dragging the club down. Great coach, but his time had come. As it often does in all walks of life.

This ^ is just a hodge podge of more "BB sucks" rhetoric that doesn't adhere to the conversation.

The Pro Bowl is not a qualifier for anything, it's completely irrelevant. If Mac Jones and Tyrod Taylor are Pro Bowlers than it's meaningless.

I can provide the stats, but I can't understand them for you.

You don't comprehend basic team statistics, that's a "you" problem.

@TheRainMaker wasn't talking about Jones getting to the pro bowl.

Even more meaningless though is talking up a "#1 ranked defense in PoInTz" that got waxed by any good offense they played.
