Calling Cassel's Number By Design

Anyone else get the feeling that a couple of the 2nd half play calls out of the shotgun formation with Faulk in the backfield were designed running plays for Cassel with Faulk clearing out the middle with his pattern? Is this a viable option going forward, or will teams start to employ a Cassel "spy"? Can they afford the body to do so? Cassel demonstrated an ability to make the passes against single coverage to the outside last nite. Lots of offensive options moving forward as I see it.
