By the numbers: Patricia's offense downright offensive

Let me say this again: 2 in 9 years.

We're in the down cycle now. I guarantee when we come back up, we'll win more than 2 over the next 7 years.

You don't not have to keep repeating it. As i stated and BB has none so far, correct? This isnt bout comparing the franchises, i said other franchises have done more to help their QBs out. L.Jackson has won an MVP before. again i am not comparing which is the better franchise or coach.

Nor do i want to get into how good Lamar Jackson really is. That was not my point.

The INT problem is not that easy to resolve.

His passes hang in the air and fall short. We saw it last season in the Buffalo post season game and we saw it in Pittsburgh. The Steeler DB did not turn in time and Agholor fortunately reached down in front of the DB and got the ball for a TD. Dangerous throw. Same as the Ravens game throwing to covered WRs. Its not like Brady throwing to Moss to where Moss was the only guy who could get it unless the DB just made and unbelievable play. Jones long passes are a toss up. Either team has a shot to haul it in.

Jones thinks that he can burn the ball in there, but he cant.

that INT was not a mechanical issue, it was a read issue. Ok Parker ran the wrong route, but again. They are asking him to find Parker more, they are asking him to take chances more often then not. So far with throwing 5/6 picks to 2TDs doesn't seem very efficient.

And yea it's not Patricia throwing the picks out there, but again he/the scheme is asking him to look for Parker more.

Patricia SO ****ING ****E GET HIM OUT

'

Patriots offense 10th in the league in ypg

Patriots- 364.7

Ravens- 380.3
Chiefs- 374
Packers- 355.7
Dolphins- 355.3
Raiders- 346.7 (MCDANIELS)
Bengals-338.7
49ers- 323.7
Rams- 306.3
Bucs- 297.3
Yup, that's the don't bend but break philosophy. Get a bunch of yards with little to no points. Great concept.

Life long Pats fan here and i am at the point i believe they need to start fresh, whole new coaching staff. BB is not the right man for a rebuild, his drafts suck, he put together a horrible coaching staff and the game has passed him by, plain and simple. I was all about in Bill we trust but i was wrong! It was all Brady!
You need to be a liitle more subtle with your assertions.

The reads are right but the mechanics lost power mid flight.

Throw the ball in front of the WR so he does not need to slow down and go back for the ball. Every Jones deep ball is short armed. The INT in the back of end zone was either the wrong route or wrong throw. I do not believe that Jones is being forced to throw to 42% catch rate Parker when he has 78% catch Agholor and 77% catch rate Bourne. Its no surprise that Parker is averaging 27 yards per reception and only catching less that 50% of those passes because Jones is not that kind of QB. He is a 16 - 20 yard receptions play it safe QB.

There is nobody else to hire.

Sean Payton but Jerry Jones will be all over him if he isnt already.

Ask Tua. Parker is an INT magnet.

Bring in Sean Payton to run our offense

Please FIRE Patricia

It's important that you let Kraft know this, not sure he is aware that BB is not the right man.

Honestly the move was 3 years ago, give me Brady and McDaniels, Kraft should have kept them and sent BB packing!
I think that Kraft sees that now.

Yes, but throwing it right to the defender isn't a coaching decision. Mac tried to force one to Parker with triple coverage ffs and misread several coverages for other turnovers. Do we think Patricia had those in the playbook? At some point people need to look at Mac and realize he just isn't that good yet at making decisions.

To each their own, but in my book I am perfectly comfortable with our play-calling so far.... We have much bigger issues and they start at the QB position. Between Jones' injury and his inability to make sound, mistake-free decisions... THAT is the elephant in the room.
The INT in the Raiders preseason game was really disconcerting. Now we have to wonder whether or not he needs to visit an eye doctor (and get LASIK) like Jameis.

Bedard was spot on today. Why do you force lil Jordan, a 500k player slow player, and you sit Bourne and Henry.... I guess they're smarter than the rest of the NFL

BB likes to let guys go a year early, same philosophy should have been used against him! I have actually grown to hate BB and basically the whole coaching staff.
Losing Ernie Adams shows. I believe that BB is burned out basically working 7 days a week for 22 years.

Look at him. He looks terrible if you ask me. I hate to see him go because the Pats will sink back to oblivion.

The year Lamar was MVP the Ravens were 14-2 and had a bye. They didn't win that year either.

9 years is a very long time. You get 3 or 4 years to rebuild.

Saying he hasn't won in 3 years is meaningless when compared to 9 years, because by the 9th year you've had more than enough chance to build a winning playoff team.

I’m not clear why we don’t have a fullback. I’m speculating that it was prompted by Patricia and seconded by Belichick. I think that was a mistake.

Seeing the Ravens with their James Devlin battering ram makes me pine for the old days.

So why wouldn't he hire real coordinators then? He has created more work for himself by having the team he assembled around him. I cant even get excited about this team right now, the dynasty seems so far away now! Atleast if kraft had kept brady we would have stayed relevant the last 3 years and also this year.

I was wrong about Flores being the DC for Pitt, but again i said my preference was Flores over Patricia was my opinion. I stated Patricia did a fine job as the DC here, Although i think Flores was better. Still none of that means he(Patricia) should be the OC here especially running a scheme he and the QB are both learning to do.

and what does BB resume have to do with this year, last year or the seasons before? The criticisms of some of this decision making are just. Because he won 6 SBs does not mean he is above any criticisms. And i am not asking for the head coach to be fired.

and in the bold. Yes a "DC" not a "OC" again especially running a scheme nobody in the building is familiar with. Like the players have questioned the direction among the media as well. This is not fans just being spoiled nor does it have anything to do with the rebuilding period. That is expected as i have stated before. The decision making during this period is a head scratcher.

You're moving the goalposts.

Are you always like this?

What you said about Patricia as DC is easy to find up above, you said he was only good. I said he was the top guy and I showed why.

But beyond all that, my defense of Patricia as a DC was in response to someone who called him overrated and sneaky bad.

Whoever holds any of these views I'm quoting doesn't know the first thing about football and should take up another hobby.

I think it's pretty clear, Bill & Patricia are trying to open up the offense. That's why they brought in Parker, drafted Thornton & Strong, and experimented with OZB. Still doesn't answer the lack of use of Bourne or Henry. Maybe they just don't have the horses to accomplish what they want. Though, Parker had a pretty good game. TOs killed the game (obviously).
