Buses to Gillette from Burlington Mall?

I'm going to the Carolina game in a couple of weeks with three friends. Does anyone know if there are any buses that go to the game that leave from the north of Boston area (Woburn, Burlington, Lexington, etc...)? Tried taking the train from South Station last year. It took two hours, so that's out.

We usually go to a game every year. All agree that dealing with the commute is the only bad part of the day. It would be better, if we could just sit back on a bus and let someone else do the driving.

God knows there's enough buses leaving from the Burlington Mall going to Foxwoods. I'm just wondering if there are any that go to the Pats games. I've tried to find this answer online and have come up empty.

If anyone knows of any bus transportation or possibly tour groups that go to Gillette, where you pay individually and don't have to rent the whole bus, I'd appreciate the information.

(Also, if there is a way we could get this posted in the main forum, I'd appreciate that as well.)

The only public transportation that I've ever heard of to Gillette is the train. You might want to go to patriots.com, find their number and call them to double check, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

Depending on how many of you there are, a tour group may be able to hook you up with a large van/smaller bus for a reasonable price. I'd check around with some of the travel agencies/tour groups and see what they can offer you. One of them may already have a group that you could piggyback on to.

Good Luck!

The drive isn't bad if you do it right. Lots open 4 hours before a game, so that's when we get there. Tailgate before, and if there is a ton of traffic tailgate after. We park in one of the lots near the stores and are usually out within 45 minutes after the game.
