To summarize, perhaps?
He's definitely been recovering long enough for it to be possible for him to play....
....but, this is a very individualized injury and we have no idea if it is long enough for him,
....and, full recovery takes 3 months on average.
He's been practicing and looking upbeat....
....but, it has been limited and we don't know how much stress he's put on it.
If he plays, he'll get a chance to shake off the rust before the playoffs...
....but, he's got great chemistry and time with Brady so there may not be much rust.
It is important to win this game to assure the #1 seed...
....but, perhaps they'd rather play on the road with him, than at home without him (if he re-injures it this week).
Team doctors have allowed players to play after 6 weeks of having this surgery...
....but we don't know how much certainty they have of each player's recovery status when they do so.
Playing this year is very important, because a championship is possible...
....but each successive game becomes more important that he be healthy for it,
....and, he has the rest of his career to protect.
