When I saw they traded for a Browns player I was hoping it was Josh Gordon but this move is also interesting. Mingo was drafted by Lombardi which surely factors into the decision.

I remember the reservations when Ayers came over; a man who was hidden on the Ten depth chart. Same with Sheard, a guy with talent who hadn't panned out. They both did alright!

That doesn't mean that every project that Bill brings over will succeed, but let us just see how it goes and support the player. The omens are good, and to be fair, it is only a bloody 5th. You would think we had given away our first rounders for 17,18 and 19 the way some people are talking!

Plus he has a really cool name...that seals the deal for me!

Wonder how this affects the DE depth in terms of the severity of those injuries to Nink and Sheard? If one of them misses a couple of games in the beginning, it could force Mingo to have a larger role than expected.

I'm assuming that both Johnson and McClellin would be OLBs rather than DEs.

I've asked multiple times before and I'm still waiting, name the GM we should pry away from another team to replace the awful Belichick. Just give us one name.

You're clearly afraid to do so because you know how easy it will be for any one of us to cherry pick through their roster decisions, the same as you do, and paint them as one of the worst talent evaluators ever.

Something tells me I'll still be waiting a good while longer for that request.

Both could be gone. Personally, I have never been impressed with Grissom. Not strong enough inside, not quick enough outside. Never had a position at Oklahoma and still doesn't.

I think they're looking to use him as LB depth if he manages to stick......he's got good speed and is decent in coverage......if I was jonathan freeny, I'd be more worried
