so you honestly think the giants are going to hire McDaniels after
Denver, 11-17, alienates the QB, drafts Tebow in the first round, basically disintegrates the team, fired year 2 mid season
LV Raiders, 9-16, alienates the QB, dumps him for Jimmy Glass, basically has a mutiny in the locker room, fired year 2 mid season

not many guys get three bites at the apple after their first two outings were complete disasters...
But out there it's a big apple. LMAO

sorry

HES NOT ****ING GOING ANYWHERE HOLY **** YOU PEOPLE
****ing and holy **** in the same context

Giants would be stupid to hire BB next year at 74.
But, it'd make a great story for a final 2 years or something.
Otherwise I heard Cowherd suggest McCarthy - which would probably be a good fit actually.
Look at the Giants HC history and when they were successful.

Parcells - ruled with discipline 2 Super Bowls
Coughlin - ruled with discipline 2 Super Bowls
BB - Cut from the same cloth.

All this treat the new NFL player different is horse 5hit. Nothing has changed. These players hate a strict HC, but love the results. McCarthy is a marshmallow like Maust.

Josh is going to stay with Vrabel in NE.
The first shoe that needs to drop is BB getting the NYG job.

If that comes to fruition, I cant see BB wanting BOB who gets crankier as time passes.

John Mara didn’t want BB and I doubt Chris Mara wants him now.

Daboll had the job when BB was available.

And, the Giants GM shipped Barkley off to the Giants biggest rival and they've already won a SB and sit atop of the NFCE @ 6 - 2.

Meanwhile, the Giants are looking at 2 - 11 after GB, DET, NE. Desperate times require desperate measures.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. I’m just saying John Mara was never hiring BB under any circumstances.

It isn't about the strictness. They can handle that. It is about being a butthead. Vrabel is strict, but is on the field for injuries and greets every player after the game. They know he cares about them, and they need that. There certainly is a culture change in the modern player and what they will tolerate. They won't tolerate buttheads like they used to. And of course, Bill isn't getting results these days.

Exactly, so what would he be coming here as? Position coach or a consultant role (like vrabel in Cleveland)?

Senior Offensive Assistant, same as McAdoo is Senior Defensive Assistant.

I don't have any evidence of this, but I have always believed that committing to the Patriots was a significant part of the interview Vrabel had with MacDaniels. And I believe that MacDaniels made that commitment. I don't think that means forever, but I think it's around a minimum of 3 years here. But since MacDaniels youngest kid is around 13 he may have decided to stay until they finish school. Regardless he's in an enviable position for any OC, he has the most talented young QB in the league, he's playing lights out, and MacDaniels is looking like a genius because that.
That’s if teams actually want him as a HC
After 2 shots as HC and failing miserably
Teams see it for what is is
Someone who provides an essential role in a system. But not someone who can totally run the whole system

So they hire BB and he gets the all time wins record, then after two years,

BB announces he is stepping down and names Jordan Hudson as his successor.

Do you ever stop panicking? Seriously, they are 8-2, completely outplaying everyone's expectations, winning big games, and you are freaking out about a stupid rumor. Try enjoying this run, it's a lot of fun, and that's been in short supply since Brady left town. Breathe deep, watch Drake Maye highlights, enjoy the ride. MacDaniels isn't going anywhere.
Spot on Huck
