what post do you reply to?
did he really compare him to pacman jones on 98.5 I didnt hear the broadcast
First he said in a rather dismissive tone.."yeah, I heard people wanted more so I got more confirmations and the truth is I can get far more, I just don;t have the time"...then he says "look, the issue is playing time and this kid will lose 4 to 6 games because of his use...look at Ricky Williams...how many games did he miss" and D.A. goes off on a sort of sidebar but Breer comes back and brings up Pac Man Jones.."this is just like the Pac Man Jones case..." I mean, I heard him say that and I'm immediately wondering what the hell is REALLY going on here??? Anyway,D.A. changed the subject and that was it...no callers brought it up post interview so I guess the "Sports Hub" was filtering calls because that was easily the most incredible, over the top piece of yellow press I've heard since...well...since Plagerist Borgy was in full meltdown.
What little Mr. Perfect Albert doesn't understand it that NO-ONE CARES what some kid did in college. If he gets caught and suspended in the NFL then it's an issue. And, no, he won't lose 4-6 games until he gets caught in the NFL. Until there's reason to believe this will be an on-going problem, little Albert needs to cut it out or go work for TMZ.
Whatever, if you want to read trash journalism then watch TMZ and read the Enquirer, you can get your fill of drug and sex stories there.Breer reported a legitimate story. That story was partly admitted to (one failed drug test) and partly denied (more than one failed test). He went on to find more NFL sources to verify his position.
He's been doing good work on the story.*
*Assuming, as I do, that he's not making up sources.

There does not need to be a story. The story will be played out on the field, there was no need to drag this kids' name through the mud. None at all.
He could have, and should have, left it as "personal issues".Since when is a player falling in the draft, and reporters getting the story on the reason why the player fell, not a story?

Tomase was doing good work on that story the week of the Super Bowl...he didn't make up his sources.
His sources lied. The story became a sham.Tomase eventually issued an admission. The damage was done.
You see zero possibility of anything like THAT possibly occurring here with Breer and his "unnamed" sources?
yeah...wow...you're right...he didn't have enough "unnamed sources" to back up his fairy story, so he invented two more...and YOU applaud him for it...so I guess you're calling the kid who's accused a liar and HIS statement a prevarification. Wonderful....ever think of trying the sports hack journalist gig yourself?? You've already got the ethics down cold.
Because it's none of our business what he did in college. He has one on the record failure, evidently. Unless sweet Albert thinks he can bring down the University of Florida in a rule breaking cover up of drug testing, that's all he has.Why on Earth would he have done that? It's not done with players that aren't drafted by the Patriots. Do Patriots draftees somehow get a pass now?
