BREAKING: Stork traded after all

So... with Stork gone, is 2014 Bill's worst draft to date as coach of the Pats?

No. Bryan Stork was the starting center on a Super Bowl champion.

Kontra, you know better. Stork has had multiple concussions and was traded because there are more reliable options. Stork was an excellent selection who paid immediate dividends.

07 holds the title as worst draft.

This. It's hard to argue that aside from Stork and Jimmy, that draft was full of misses. But getting 3 cheap years of an elite #1 corner completely cancels out any damage those misses might have done, and then some.

I'm not sure Malcolm is elite - yet

Good riddance after the guy almost single handedly egged up the AFCCG and damn near got the GOAT killed in the process.

Welp, it's officialy official now. On both ends.

I wonder how many teams could have a bad draft and still win the SB the same year. Poor Stork, drafted in 2014, starting center for SB Champions and now informed he was going to be cut and while he was reeling from that, is informed he was traded. It's a brutal business. He played center, guard and tackle last year. It's pretty telling that the Patriots think they have better options at back-up center and guard. They really must be worried about his concussion history. Stork has talent so I don't think that would be an issue.

Never a dull moment with this team eh? Much thanks for 2014 Stork!

He helped them win a Lombardi so I'm grateful for that and wish him the best. I think it was simply a matter of availability and with the other issues at OL they knew they couldn't keep a spot for him when he's down so often, and the new concussion policies are going to lead to more players with multiple concussions being cut rather than risk losing more time from them.

The league has to make practice squad part of the team and allow those players to move to active and back without risk of losing them, too many guys are going to be sitting to keep it the way it is.

First, if anyone should get the blame its mcDaniels. He oversees that whole thing and signs off on it. Could not have asked any more of Stork as a 4th round rookie center in 2014. He did a phenomonal job. Just goes to show to you never know. One day these guys can be a sweet strawberries, and the next day a sour grape

It's McDaniels' fault that Stork was giving away the snap count? You're kidding, right?

Stork didn't give away the snap count. The silent snap count is x beats after the C lifts his head. Stork isn't the one who made x the same thing on every play.
Thats like saying play calling is the QBs fault because he speaks the play in the huddle

FYI I believe in the last thus was a Dante thing which is why degugliwhatever got blamed but it really was in McDaniels and ultimately BB

After all the concussions now a whole new playbook!
The poor guy's head's gonna explode. No wonder he's thinking retirement.
