So it is some kind of medical hearsay behind an unnamed source. I don't think I'd hang my hat on that but I suppose it is the best information we have at the moment.

Assuming the reports are correct, and it wasn't a steroid situation, it would shock the hell out of me if the Patriots used any pick from that Carolina selection or above on an ILB.

How the hell do you figure it sped up his game??? You clearly don't understand that when Spikes ran his 40 at the combine, he was doing so with an injury.. And since then, the injury has healed.

You can be "disgusted" with the news, it just makes you a hypocrite.

This guy has a history of bad decisions and I have seen no explanation for the current situation that does not include a very bad decision on his part. I hope he comes to understand that at some point he will run out of chances.

I know, right? People are funny. The medication exists to ENHANCE PEOPLES FOCUS AND CONCENTRATION. It doesn't build muscle but depending on the cirumstances where he was using it, Aderall can definitely enhance performance.

No it won't do those things, but depending on how your system reacts with ADHD medication it does speed up you thought process, makes you think clearer, makes you feel like you have a ton of energy.

Again, these effect are different for everyone, but when I was in college, I did some "research" into this stuff and it was like Red Bull on crack for me.

I think the problem people are having with what the two of you are saying is the the medication doesn't make you any smarter mentally or any stronger or faster physically. It helps you focus, but I wouldn't call that a performance enhancer in colloquial terms. Students that are prescribed this type of medication are allowed to take it during a test yet students cannot take steroids for sports. I think the difference is one improves your ability while the other just helps you focus.
