It is his job to take the first wave brunt. As we saw with what happened in January, everyone piled on and then as time went on and things became more clear most backed off a great deal. The Wells report is a slap in the face that stings but it is not a body blow and will be easily discredited. Look at the number of folks in the Press who didn't buy in to it from the start. This is very different than what happened in January.

If Mythbusters does do this, it will make the NFL look like the fools they are and give them a body blow far above the slap of the Wells report. Isn't he a pundit on espn's fantasy football show? What credability does he have? Guy played like 6 games in his career.

Strictly speaking, evil intent isn't necessary (the publisher doesn't have to know that the statement will cause harm). Also, actual malice isn't necessary if the defamee is not considered a public figure.

As soon as a penalty is levied against Brady, he will sue the NFL the same way that the Players in Bountygate sued the NFL and had their penalties nullified.

Can someone who has read the report shed some light what is this that he is talking about ?

Yee is talking about the fact that the NFL purposely left out of the report the content of the text messages that went back and forth between Brady and Jastremski despite the fact that the league had full access to those messages through Jastremski's phone.

Yee also is saying that other QBs don't have the same relationship with the part-time equipment guys as Tom does. Which is probably true since we know that Tom is a good guy and goes out of his way to treat people fairly. Unlike other QBs around the league.
