Did Kraft make the wrong decision choosing Belichick over Brady in 2020?

The best decision would have been to have them both stay.
The next best would have been to keep the GOAT QB.
Kraft made the worst choice and one of his few mistakes.
Brady was a free agent, he chose to leave and was smart to. The Pat’s had one of the worst cap situation’s in the league entering 2020 and their roster was aged out.

It’s the “free” in free agent some here are struggling with. Tom’s wife wanted to live in Florida, it wasn’t a choice.

I was looking at the Brady/Belichick choice only from the perspective of Kraft. In the end it's his team and his decision.

Btw, since I have you here, I'm with you when it comes to the confidence that this team can turn it around pretty quickly. I've always considered the NYFL to be a one season at a time league and the Pats only have to shore up the offense to be competitive.

I think you have to say "yes," though it's not a pleasant task to say so. More older people are rendered ineffectual by rigidity and stubbornness than by any other sort of shortcoming, I suspect, and vindictiveness does not make for a clear vision of things. When you're younger, you work to make your world the way you want it. When you head 'round that bend, you just get angry the world isn't the way you like it, and cast blame rather than thinking clearly and getting busy. Take heart. If it hasn't happened to you yet, it will, unless you are one of those annoying saintly types one runs into from time to time.

What the hell is this? Lol
A vision of the future!!

Your worst nightmare
Worse than Klopp leaving Liverpool
Wait that did happen lmao
Yup - made for a horrible weekend!!! My comfort the last few seasons while we have been crap was Liverpool doing well. Now I may lose that too.

I still see them winning the league

Book will never close. Like Ginger vs Mary Ann, the debate will never be over.
Of course not. It's one of the greatest debates of the early 21st century. People in the media are discussing it every day. Only Team Bill no longer wants to discuss it.

BTW, what will Team Bill become? Some are out. Others in witness protection. The few remaining die hards are still trying with their last gasping breaths to defend the cluster**** that Bill left behind. We warned Team Bill for years it would come to this, but we were haters with agendas, while they were real pats fans. Lol

Some don't believe a rift exists at all, it never did. Namely this guy...

I’ve identified the problem, stop reading Tiger Beat Magazine.

I think so too and probably a cup. More worried about next year and beyond.

Here's what I don't get about all of this. If I didn't want to see anything about Brady vs Belichick then I'd simply not read a thread titled Brady vs Belichick. Problem solved. Instead, we get fans who come to a thread like this to disrupt things and try and stop any discussion of a topic that will probably still being talked about long after most of us are gone.

The rift isn't between Bill and Tom. It's between the fans and B&B for letting the GOAT QB go over nothing more than a few dollars. The fact that they had no plan in place for his departure and he won his 7th ring the very next season didn't help. And the team becoming a cellar dweller with Bill after Tom left made it even worse.

Speaking of cups. I was surprised to learn that most NYFL players don't wear one.

You might as well try and stop a tidal wave. As mentioned upstream, this topic will be around forever.

IMO in the ranking of all time idiotic moves by a Boston team, dumping Brady is #2. The Babe Ruth trade is #1 because it led to multiple titles and a spend to win policy that still exists for the Socks' biggest rival.

Brady's departure isn't as bad because it happened late in his career but it was also worse in the sense that Brady had built up a ton of cache and won a lot. He deserved to finish his career here.

The Orr loss was #3 because it was done by his crooked agent and not by the Bruins. It's still a bad move though.

Now, if this kind of response bothers you you might want to rethink coming to a thread with this title. What did you expect?

This thread will serve as a psychological case study one day in the future. Will you join in the fun and discuss girls/AI funny pictures that have long since taken over the chat, or will you resist and be the guy that insists on continuing to argue about a topic that has been discussed daily here for 4 years?

I mean we can all join in the fun on every thread then if the obvious pathetic attempt to derail a thread is no longer an issue. Fair is fair, right?
