Brady resting sore foot, did not make trip to Tampa

As long as we're enjoying this moment with minimum hysteria, perhaps it's time for a panic inducing conspiracy theory?

- Early Training Camp emphasis: Run Game...
- Notable offseason visits/effort to sign additional veteran RB...
- Jordan signed.
- Perhaps there's another, more sinister, reason then injuries for NE leading the League in O-Linemen in Training Camp...
- Reserve QBs appear to be getting more reps this preseason than in preseasons past...
:help: Cassel to King 4...
Don't forget :
- Drafted a QB way higher than expected.

no it's not simple.....the good, independent writers don't take the team's word as gospel.
They investigate further,like Adam Shecter.
Reiss owes us more than just reporting:
"he's home,resting his foot".
I can get that from PRAVDA.

Tomase would go though wastebaskets at the hospital looking for stuff and come up with inaccurate information half the time, then read Reiss's column and come up with an "update".

If that's what you're looking for, there's plenty of that on the net.

What does Adam Schecter have to say about his foot? I'm confused.

H'mmm, so many feisty people:
- New England has geography? Will that be a new course in schools?
- Is the only place to have an MRI a hospital?
- Does the fact PATSNUTme has spies in medical facilities throughout the region making anyone else worried?

Also how do we know it was for his foot? If I lived with Gisele, I'd probably need an MRI and it wouldn't be for a foot.

:wha:

LOL....so true....

You can also get it by tilting your tinfoil hat slightly towards the southern sky.

As far as I can tell, none of the other "good, independant writers" had a peep about Brady staying home until Reiss had it.

You're also pretty quick to assume a couple of things:

1 - that there is anything to report beyond the fact he has a sore foot and that he's not with the team tonight, and;
2- that he accepts the team's word as gospel and just moves on. How do you know this? What incident - specifically - has led you to this conclusion?

AND The other half the time he'd come up with discared donuts, cookie crumbs and pizza crusts. sorry, just couldn't resist.

There's Schefter's report for you: http://www.nfl.com/news/story;jsess...d80a0dd0b&template=without-video&confirm=true

Tom Brady did not travel with the New England Patriots to Tampa Bay and will not play Sunday night against the Buccaneers, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Wow, new inside info from Schef.

I hope it's just precautionary, after all I think we all know what he can do!

Clearly just took the team's word as gospel and went back to his desk at PRAVDA.

Surprising. I'd have thought he would have bought some scrubs and helped administer the MRI.

So Cassell's awful play and wounded puppy dog demeanor is just an act to make the opposition overconfident?

BB is a genius.

(no, I don't care how I spell it, just subtract an s or an l, I don't think it's a name I'll have to remember for long).

If BB felt that Brady's injury may have been threatening the 2008 season I surely think he would have at least brought a veteran QB in for a tryout - Not relying on a rookie and a 3rd rounder at that or the other 2 which have not shown more than squat in their brief outings.

Forget Cassel if Brady's injury turned out with the worst scenario - He could not even lead USC to a championship let alone a pro team

I would rather see them sign a QB vet looking for a job or even bring Troy Brown back for a stint at QB than have Cassel,Gutz,or a rookie run the offense

I have a feeling this sore foot is a lot worse because of the patchwork O-line they have out there in pre-season. wink-wink.

Is this a continuation of last year's pre-superbowl injury? Jeezus, I hope not!

I am confused. The game is not on tv locally, but i noticed on NFL.com that tom thru an interception.
