Brady named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October

Has anyone ever posed this question to Goodell? It seems that since the NFL has been checking the PSI in footballs, Tom Brady's passing numbers have not suffered, in fact he is better than ever. If this is true, why would he concoct an elaborate plan to deflate footballs?

Day after Day, the whole Brady likes deflated footballs is proven to be a complete lie. WHat Brady didn't like is over inflated footballs. I still can not believe that he got suspended because the NFL refused to accept science after getting their collective butt hurt.

I still don't understand why the Pats didn't produce the tapes from all 9 home games they had showing that bathroom Dorito Dink went into allegedly pull off this scheme. If the scheme was for him to take the balls and go into that bathroom every home game and stick a needle in the balls there should be security footage of him entering and exiting that bathroom for the other games and not just for the AFCCG.

If we want to go a step deeper: Brady's stats have actually got better, but a bunch of other QBs have struggled notably since the NFL started monitoring PSI more closely. What a strange coincidence!

... seriously though, it's totally a coincidence, but we all know Brady wouldn't get any benefit of the doubt at all if he had a bad-by-his-standards season. I can only imagine how hard the usual suspect jackasses in the media would be piling on if he wasn't playing historically great football.

In fact, I'm sadly confident that, if Brady doesn't slow down soon, those same usual suspects are going to spin Brady's continued excellence into yet another controversy. If he's playing well at age 40--something that their lord and savior Peyton Manning couldn't do--I'm pretty sure the HGH accusations will start flying pretty freely.

Even if we had a wiki leaks of emails of Roger admitted he made it up theyd just say it doesn't matter if it was made up he can still punish him if he wants to. And of course people would still say he did it.

You're not alone in that particular line of thinking. I'd go as far as to say that a study ought to be done comparing the stats of all QB's since the balls were supposedly monitored stemming from the Deflategate saga. Of course, that's hard to do since the NFL refuses to disclose the results of their PSI study from last season. I think what we're seeing now is the fact that a great deal of NFL QB's manipulated balls to their liking, and that one of the only ones to prefer it at the appropriate range is the guy strung up for it in the first place.

So I say, keep kicking ass Tommy, and please make sure your avocado ice cream isn't on the list of band substances after each bite.
