Marcus Jones named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Through all the libel and slander, all this kid does is produce at a high level.

I also dont understand the idea writers have that Charles Woods has replaced Jones at slot.

Woods was in there against a team with multiple tight ends. Marcus is too small to cover tight ends. That being said, he was in nickel and dime packages, and I can't remember a single slot WR burning us yet this year. Maybe Jakobi a little bit in the 1st game, but for the most part, we've been burned far downfield this year.

Every time I see a pass completed against Marcus, he is right there defending it, inches away, and it's a perfect pass, usually to the outside boundary.

* If it's by total yards, Troy Brown actually has twice as many yards as Edelman.
* If it's by TDs, he needs three more.
* If it's by average, he probably won't. Edelman was at one point the all-time leader in punt return average.
