Brady is oddly criticized by former Buc teammates (link)

I never have and never will understand this " generation" thing.
I don't and never have identified myself as a member of a specific generation. That's stupid.
I'm 72 but I don't ***** about ANY generations.
Not my Dad's, aka Greatest Generation" ( what a crock!)
Not boomers, Gen Z,X or whatever.
Fact is,they're all the same.
We're all just humans on the planet trying to find our way and do the right thing.
I've worked with plenty of Millenials, gen z and x who were all awesome to work with.
There's no difference between any generations. Period. There's good people,
bad people.
Maybe if we just all treated every human we encounter as an individual, and not try to stereotype them by age, race, religion, etc., things in general would be much cooler.
We're being divided in every possible way and it seems to be working.

It's shocking to me that the Greatest QB to Ever Play the Game, the Winningest Player In League History was ultra focused on winning and his new teammates found his locked in laser focus was a downer to other players who were happy drawing their gazillion dollar salary without having to work at the level of one Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.

In other words, " losers"

You can't blame a person for having traditional views after growing up under more traditional values.
I can blame him for not being his own man and realizing he had a good thing going for himself and instead using other people's value systems to decide he didn't have a good thing going. His 'traditonal value' that caused the most conflict was as mentioned him not wanting my mom to find a job. This is a 'dog whistle' for someone who is an insecure control freak. He was afraid that her having her own income would make it easier for her to leave, and being out of the house would give her a chance to meet a better partner. He got a lot of these views from other people around them. I remember hearing things like "how could you let your wife work?". I learned later in life that he was the one having an affair. I guess he knew what to be afraid of, because he was already doing it.

Not all of the world's changes have been positive.
Not all of the world's changes have been negative. A woman of my age or older had very few choices in life. Women of my age really had to struggle to get anywhere in certain fields. For instance my girlfriend in college was an engineering student and her own father told her she should do something else because she's taking a man's job away from him. I heard this with my own ears. Thankfully she ignored him and has had a long and successful career doing great work that benefits many people.

None of us know what happened behind the scenes, and Brady had never publicly discussed it. Maybe Brady knew the marriage was over and decided he’d rather play football than sit at home.

I think it’s pretty naive to think the marriage just crumbled because of his decision to go back to football. It had probably been failing for a long time prior. Maybe Brady knew about the karate dude and didn’t want to try and save the marriage. Who knows.
It's pretty clear he hasn't said much, but it's also clear she's said a lot in interviews about what happened and when, yet many people here dismiss it out of hand. Instead they make stuff up like "Maybe Brady knew about the karate dude and didn’t want to try and save the marriage" with no evidence whatsoever.

Gee what’s that saying? Winning is fun? Do your job? If things WEREN’T stressful, I’d be concerned…

Jealousy is another example of control. I used to play golf in a pretty large group with a young couple who when I played with them individually I found out that the lady didn't like her boyfriends jealousy. When I played with the guy he said that he thought jealousy was a sign that he cared. I tried to help and I hope he smartened up.
