Honestly, we don't have the luxury of throwing away picks just because they're on Day 3. Trey Palmer was a 6th Rd pick and scored more TDs than all of our WRs/TEs except Bourne & Henry.

That’s the only real issue with me regarding this. I don’t really mind that he gambled under the age of 21.

Honestly, he was a 6th round flyer so whatever the Pats decide to do is fine by me. If Mayo thinks there’s something there, then we’ll keep him and let him battle for a roster spot in TC. He’s really just a JAG at this point.

Yeah, this is a huge nothing-burger... NFL might give him a small suspension just based on the Ridley precedent, even though this isn't exactly the same thing, but I don't think anyone should be morally outraged...

I agree. If they saw things with him last year they didn't like and this is the last straw then I don't really care of they cut him. Depending on what they do at receiver in the draft and free agency he may be a long shot to make the roster anyways.
