PATRIOTS NEWS Charges Dropped Against Patriots WR Boutte

Flip 4 and 5.

I had Boutte 4, Baker 5. They both make the team, but I liked what I saw of Boutte (granted they were just glimpses), and haven't seen how Baker competes yet.

Injuries in camp will probably sort a lot of this out.

Is a lot of young "potential" with so little to show for it. Top 3 are locks, as others have said. Reagor has a shot because of his KR abilities.
Boutte has lots of talent, but hasn't put it together. Flash/Disappear isn't a good look. Thornton has shown ZERO.

Barring injuries, I see:

Bourne (PUP)

I could see JJSS traded, sure, particularly since the rebuild is on in full. In that case, Reagor and Boutte have the best chance of hanging on while Bourne is out.

Charges dropped. Boutte was looking pretty decent during camp. May surprise us and take a roster spot over someone like Juju/Thornton.

Boutte always had potential but he was firmly in the doghouse after making a few mistakes his rookie season and never really got off the ground.

Hopefully now that his legal issues have been cleared, he can get his head on straight and focus on showing Mayo he deserves a spot on the 53.

I have a WR eye cancel Reagor I think Thornton is our Breakout guy this Year. Thornton have an excuse Patriciia in 22 and the Mac Jones Trainwreck in 23. He's gotten a lot Bigger hopefully that translates he offers a different skill set from the others he's our True Vertical or Nine Route Guy.
