hope the games are better tomorrow.
PS - boy does Seattlr get the hometown calls.
I believe todays games will be just the opposite.
Youre right though. What a let down.

JJ Watt had more TV time than any other player today
Hope they show him during next week's blowout as well
I said in the other thread this weekend will be garbage. Pitt- MIA most likely another snoozefest and NYG-GB should be the only decent game of the weekend but wouldn't be suprised if that ends up sucking too.
For some crazy reason I'm looking forward to Pitt-Miami and think it will be an entertaining game. Anybody else share my irrational optimism?
What is that? I didn't see most of the game.
The ball probably was uncatchabke but the rule calls for it to be uncatchabke without any possible question, like a throwaway.I turned off the Lions game, thinking they had no chance...went back an hour later just in time to see a non-call on a clear DPI on a critical 3rd down deep in Lions territory. Stafford threw a bomb, Sherman grabbed the receiver's arm and tugged way downfield as the ball sailed over their heads.
Refs called it an un-catchable ball, apparently. When do you see that? And it wasn't.
That play effectively ended the game. The Lions were only down seven and would have had a nice momentum shift right there (and would have been in Seattle territory). instead, they punted from their end zone, gave Seattle a short field, and boom, then it's 20-7.
One horrendous call turned what could have been an exciting 4th Quarter into a game no longer worth watching.
Another reason why the ratings are down.
I think it may go the other way. I think Miami is going to hang with Pitt, maybe even beat them. And I think GB could blow out the giants.I said in the other thread this weekend will be garbage. Next week will be really good though, unlike this week I am definitely planning to watch all 4 games.

When the commentators start putting the officiating on blast....WITH ****DELL ON ATTENDANCE....you know you have a problem.
And then there's this:
I was speechless when I saw this. Why didn't the Lions scream bloody murder? Will there be fines? Suspensions? Am I remembering it wrong?
They mix and match them, which anyone with a lick of sense knows doesn't work. Sure it could work long term, but they need a few games together to figure each other out. This leads to the first two rounds, at best, being onboarding...But these were the highest ranked refs during the year. What does that tell you about the quality of the reffing???
