And if Manning chokes like he usually does in the playoffs, I won't want to hear anymore about Manning being better than Brady.

Define 'choke'. I was hardcore pro-Brady in this debate until Manning lost Harrison and Edgerrin James but stayed puttin up great #'s, and also finally getting a ring. Brady's performances in 3 of the last 4 playoffs were less than stellar to his standards. This year was terrible, '07 wasn't terrible but in the 2 games that mattered the most he was neutralized (the Giants game wasn't his fault but alot of Manning's 'chokes' weren't completely his fault either). '05 even though we lost a few fumbles, you can only wonder how that game would have ended without the killer INT. So would that make him a 'choker' post '04?

The Patriots have had better teams since '01 than the Colts until very recently, and now Manning is slowly catching up in terms of head to head wins and, if he wins next week, rings.

I for one am not impressed by those wins over the Jets and Ravens. But, I do agree that Manning was incredibly good this year, and hands down for me he was the MVP.

But I've seen Manning before throttle cruddy teams in the playoffs, like the Broncos, and then wilt. Those Bronco teams were no worse than the Jets this year.

It's not strange to say Manning wilts when there's a history of him wilting.

I just read through all 13 pages of this comedy piece, and I have to say that this post wins the award for most outlandish, ridiculous, homer-filled post of the thread on top of the other handfuls of nominees. Just incredible.

Of course you are not impressed by Manning and the Colts' wins over Baltimore and New York.....because Manning played well and his team won! You are the definition of a blind homer who would attack anyone who made an argument against his team, valid or not. Get a grip.

Bob Ryan is an over the hill writer who is well past his "Sell By" date in Boston and is desperately trying to curry favor with the suits at HSPN so they will give him his few minutes of airtime every few days.

The only way to get that airtime is to be negative about anything related to the Patriots.

Do you have any proof to back these rediculous claims? Doubtful. Something tells me that if Ryan wrote an article stating that Brady was the best ever, you'd think he was the smartest man in the world
