I messed up on the context. He's told some whoppers and certainly is questionable but I don't think he was erroneously reporting the Demps MRI issue as I have learned to discover, other sources have stated the same thing.

Gotcha. If you can find corroborating evidence elsewhere, then I guess we can take that PFT post as sincere. But if we can find the former, there is no need for the latter, right?

that I will definitely grow from. I wish the Steelers, my former teammates and Steeler Nation nothing but the best.

NFL Insider video showed him punching this into his phone nervously under a steely side-eye from BB in the adjacent seat.

and there is an entire section about placing players with minor injuries on IR. So you have proven that any injury makes the player eligible for IR.
Maybe I completely misrepresented my argument, but I don't think I was trying to prove/disprove anything. I guess my argument is that even with the rules we've all reviewed, I still think that there is enough squishiness with minor and major injuries designations in the bylaws for the team to manipulate.

Ok. Not sure if it clarifies anything..?
It clarifies that people in Louisiana have a very weird way of naming roads. I guess. Terry Bradshaw Passway?

Gray was late and missed practice (or sent home) as a result, anyone thinking Blount gets the start?

Were Gray hurt then Blount would be featured in power run plays but otherwise due to lack of practice time with this year's team I would be worried about possible miscommunication or missed assignment with a guy who has had no time to speak of with the team this season.

Your argument, or the piece of it that you and I were discussing was your contention that an injury has to be long term for it to be within the rules to IR a player.

Yea. I guess even if the injury is of "minor" designation- the team can put the player on IR...just as they did w/ Brandon Spikes last year going into the playoffs.

Am still waiting for an example of a player being placed on IR during the regular season simply to stash the player.

This year or in the history of the NFL?

More importantly, why did this thread go over 400 posts?

He should play sunday right? I feel like it shouldn't be hard to plug in a running back like Blount.

Glad to see Blount back in the fold.
