Black Monday thread: the NFL Coaching Carousel

I know he won't be fired, but one has to question the job Frank Reich did this year......all the talk last off season was "Indy is a QB away from the Superbowl" - they got the QB, they missed the playoffs

Setting this up to aggregate multiple chats about league coaching and front office firings and replacements.

So far the Dolphins, Bears, Vikings, Jaguars, Raiders, Broncos have openings. Panthers searching for an OC.

.

I agree. Unless the Finns wanted to leap ahead of the Raiders with Jeem Harbaugh.

Both Davis and Ross are big backers of Harbaugh.

Truly shocked that Fangio was fired. He had NO QB. Vince Lombardi couldn't have won here with the crappy QB situation.
Agree, thought he did a good job, team was competitive, never had a QB.

The QB didn’t have much of an OL.

we have a thread on this already...

Dave Gettleman about to retire, by the sounds of things.

The Flores firing has me absolutely shook.

Maybe, I have no idea. All things considered I thought Culley did a good job.

I think Houston is the only place MacDaniels would consider, because having a GM he can work with will be a major factor in the decision. The key question to MacDaniels future is whether or not he believes that he is taking over when Belichick hangs them up, and how long.that wait could be. If it isn’t guaranteed, or if the wait will be too long then he could bail to Houston, but if Kraft has promised him the HC job then I think he will stay.

It looked questionable early but they seemed to come on later in the year. Mills looks promising. If Caserio can flip Watson for a haul, they might go places. That is, if Easterby doesn't ruin it.
