Would be the biggest loss for the team besides BB retiring. Patriot drafts SUCKED before Eliot Wolf showed up, drafts were horrible from 2013-2019. Sign Eliot Wolf for the Pats, otherwise more Idiocracy from the 2 john carroll roommates as the Pats nose dive when Wolf leaves and BB keeps getting old.

O'Brien brought the 2TE offense to the Pats and developed Gronk and Edelman. Also led 4 division titles for the Texans before Easterby lit the house on fire.

O'Brien, Daboll, Flores will all be strong candidates for the 7 openings.

I actually think Flores would be elite and great for Minnesota if he doesn't meddle with the offense there. Just bring his defensive expertise to a Vikings team which already has a good offense.

Sounds as if they're definitely hiring a GM first, then together go on the HC search.

Culley is out. McDaniels is "not expected to pursue" that job, according to Aaron Wilson in Houston. Makes sense, as I think McDaniels is going to want more roster control than what Caserio will give up.

That article barely says anything, actually.

It says just focused on the upcoming game and not looking until the Pats post-season is over. Well, the Pats post-season could be over 2 days from now. That article doesn't say anything.

But it's also not like he's at the top of anyone's coaching list. The 7 teams looking around all have 5-10 names already slotted in and people with a more momentum or hype right now.

You don’t take a job because your friend works there, you take a job because it’s a good job.
Houston is an awful job and they just fired a guy they handed a team with every right to go 0-17 after 1 year.
Going to a bad team that fires a coach for doing what was expected will scare the next guy away in a heartbeat.
