now show me the ONE post this pessimistic moron has EVER made that casts the Patriots team or individual players in anything other than a deleterious light since he's discovered this board and logged on...I'll wait

i think Pete is really Steve from Fall River.

That's not the point of the topic.

Point is, the Bills who are regarded as a team who need a QB have one who is playing on par with the highest paid player int he league.
No, they have one who compiles stats while losing that resemble the stats Brady compiles while winnng. That is worlds away from playing on a par.

His name is Pessimistic Pete, I never take anything he says serious, I thought it was a schtick he created, kind of like Felger.

After 4 games, we're doing this? Really? This is what we're doing?

C'mon, be reasonable. Sure the guy might be showing some prowess but comparing him to someone with a lengthy career is just ... well, apples to oranges.

I do give the guy kudos for the lack of weaponry at his disposal and what he has been able to accomplish in the short term. Well, except for the lack of winning ... he's not quite got that part yet. But even just stat-wise, he's got a long way to go for someone to seriously compare him to someone with a career like Brady.

first off, I'm making fun of you...you can twist and wrap it and convolute it all you want to but it's YOU that dreams these idiotic "comparisons" up every day week after week month after month...it's boring, tiresome and redundant....I get it...YOU hate the Patriots so you play the "I'm just a pessimistic Pats fan...really...gosh gee willikers" routine. You are transparent and a detriment to any thread you post in. I grasp your comparison idea and it's totally moronic. Be sure to continue to harp on your "thesis" ad nauseum, I'm sure it will prove to be a 21st century paradigm of pomposity in time.

Pathetic, you can't even admit that calling someone a "special ed dropout" is offensive and immature.

Also being overly verbose at the end there was just cringe worthy, no need to oven compensate Joker.

Oh look, more name calling. Special ed drop out, moron....pretty sure Ian wanted this immature behavior off our board and saved for some where like Gang Green. Maybe you'd fit in better there. And on to your question...

what's "Gang Green"?

sounds like a Jets fan board...just as you, with your 288 posts of pessimism, seem to have a green underbelly...figures.

keep up the wingnut comparisons that cast any/every Patriot player/coach in a bad light....just like a good troll should.

I get it now Pete ... you were the nerdy kid who nobody picked in the pickup games.

I find your general point of view offensive and immature. What I do find amazing is you haven't used FML once. There might be hope for you to grow out of this phase still.

I think u guys are missing the OP's point, Brady has not put up good numbers since moss left. He has thrown 1 touch down in the last 2 games. Going by that trend, he will have 21 TDs for the year. This is the time u rack up TDs before the weather turns bad. We don't have any known profilic touch down producers on this team. Will Gronkowski lead this team in TD catches? wow.

Things have to change in the next 10 games, Brady is too good to not throw at least 25 TDs.

I think u guys are oblivious to the fact that the last time Tom didn't throw at least 25 TD's we went to the AFCC game and the time before that we won the freakin' Superbowl. Neither of those teams had profilic (whatever that is) touch down producers on them. Didn't even have what you'd classify as prolific WR's. Had guys like Givens and Brown and Graham and Fauria...and some guy named Branch. It doesn't matter how you score, just that you score enough to get the W. We also went to a superbowl once with a prolific TD producer and it didn't do us a damn bit of good.

You say "since Moss left" as if 10 weeks have passed. No, it's been two games against two of the best pass defenses in the league.

There's a big difference in how a QB on a winning team plays vs a QB on a losing team. Fitzpatrick takes more chances because because they and he need to, Brady doesn't have to do that. In addition, Fitzpatrick is a very streaky player who happens to be on a hot streak at the moment. He had a similar run with the Rams when he first played, it will be short lived. Comparing Fitzpatrick to Brady is as silly a thread as I've seen. I actually thought it was a joke at first. Long time production vs a few game run.

Imo its quite simple. Brady is not being asked to do too much in this system. Hoyer could do just as good a job as Brady in the system we have played the last three games.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is not a top QB, he is an average starter at best.

For all the people saying that the film hasn't caught up to Fitzpatrick yet, I'm not sure what you're talking about. He's been in the league for several years now, and this isn't his first season as a starter. These teams already have plenty of film on him. It's possible that he's just developed into a better player, especially when you consider that the Bills don't even have TO this time around.

I like players like Fitzpatrick, guy was a 7th rd pick and is carving out a decent career for himself in the NFL. At the very least he can be like a Billy Volek caliber backup and that is nothing but good praise.

Matt Leinart he is not.

Brady has a bunch of crappy defenses coming up...Browns, Lions, Colts...if he doesn't throw TDs against them, then I'll be worried. As it stands, he's on pace for 3,600 yards and 29 TDs according to ESPN.com.

lets trade brady for fitzpatrick. fitzy's younger, much more potential

What the hell was with the sarcasm on this board? Instead of the "OH WOW YEAH HES JUST AMAZING, PUT HIM IN THE HALL OF FAME!" sarcastic nonsense try to actually respond.
Well, for starters, saying that Fitzpatrick is on a par with Brady is kinda numb. I thought it was a sarcastic joke at first.

But he has won every game since Moss left. Going by that trend we will hit the playoffs 15-1 and win the superbowl.

Things have to change in the next 10 games
Why? Winning every game but not scoring a lot of TDs is fine with me.

There is a certain standard of performance that is expected from players of a certain caliber. A player of brady's caliber has to throw for at least 4000 yards and 25 touchdowns.
btw: we won't win this week if brady throws one touch down. We won't win many games with brady throwing one touch down. His production has to improve.
