You might be on to something. i read a little further looking to see if more would be revealed and he made mention about Monday night (well, today is monday 1:15 EST) and most people would refer to that as afternoon and not night. So, the author must be in Europe somewhere (or just confused because daylight doesn't reach in momma's basement).

Also mentioned it's an NFL problem, just the Patriots are the biggest abuser. And, the NFL is fighting their team of 3 researchers...Then again, when does anything have to have an ounce of truth for people to believe bad things about the Patriots.

Funny replies about people telling the poster to watch their back

I feel the need to do something productive, so I think I'll go water my cactus.

I actually have worked for major media outlets, and major IPs...you would not believe the level of delusion in some too-interested fans. They think they're influencing the company with their e-mails and message board rants.

They think they know so much more about the process than they do. They often think they can dig out the truth behind Decision X or Y and break the story of the century for that IP, and so get a byline at a major media outlet for that particular field (computer games, novels, franchises, worlds).

It gets scary.

Not sure what you are saying, but these are hyper-obsessed fans that have crossed over to some type of true-believer mentality in some fictional scenario that exists mostly within their minds?

That's exactly right. Call it the modern-media-day Messianic Complex.

This seems more like some Pats fan trolling to get a rise out of the Bills fans. Maybe even a Colts fan to get a rise out of the Bills fans and the rest of the league etc....

I do not believe this guy writes for anyone other than maybe Dr. Seuss.

Let's say he has the goods on somebody. Does a hunter scream "Prepare to die!" or just pull the trigger?

Depends on what I'm hunting...

Totally agree with Tony. Has to be someone trolling the Bills message board. He claims that he will be releasing some redacted emails tonight. To show how "serious" he is. And one of his writing partners is a Dolphins fan. I expect this is a complete troll messing with Bills fans.

I love how television started using the phrase "integrity of the game" and now so many football fans do.

I wonder where they came up with it? Does polly wanna' cracker?

Humanity seriously overrates humanity. Thinking individuals responsible for lifting the herd out of the mud and into civilization are a rare minority. The vast majority of human beings are pretty helpless and moronic.

That's depressing.

OK, this time I'll illustrate and you pick the real hunter

"Rex, I'm on to Jacksonville"

Speaking of Borges, did anyone catch the glimpses of him during the 5th quarter yesterday while Zolak and Burton(?) were waiting for BB's post gamer?

Borges was in the background and although his "hair" never looked natural to me with a face on camera angle, he looked just bizarre in the shots yesterday where it was a side view. He had clumps of what might be loosely termed "blonde" hair and I do mean clumps with a bald spot on the top of his head while the front portion of his head was colored black.

I actually had to rewind to make sure I was seeing this correctly.

Bizarre.

I saw the same thing and was hoping that someone would get a screenshot. He looks like he had that "Hair in a Can" spray that used to be advertised on TV years ago. He only sprayed the part that would be visible on camera and left the back part untouched. I guess Curran was laughing to hard to tell him about Dr. Robert Leonard.
